The Return of the Dragon Queen: 3 (The Avalonia Chronicles) Paperback – Illustrated, 26 November 2019

This series is my all-time favourite... No part of the books seemed even a bit boring or unexciting... I could gladly read it over and over again...it's a perfect blended balance of fantasy, magic, love, thriller and morals....loved it to the core!

My all time fav. It is a triology named Avalonia chronicles. Inspiring, fantasy, magic, love, cheat, wisdom, revenge nd what not... must read series. But 1 wud find the chapters nd description of corresponding palace as repeatitive.

About the Avalonia series-Avalonia is fictional land (much like Narnia) where Fae, Mages, pixie, dryads, brownie, Pegasus, dragon and Witches reside. It consists of 7 kingdoms which face a grave threat of Queen Morgana of Illiador who with the help of Drakar and dark forces wants to raise Dragath (Dark Lord much like Voldemort of Harry Potter). Aurora a teenager who is an orphan is kidnapped from her world and transported into the magical land of Avalonia; here she finds out that she has powers of Mages and Fae. The first book introduced her to the Mage power(Father's side) and the second book focused on her Fae power(Mother's side) and now in third one she uses the magic she learned to fight back her enemies.This is the third and the last book in Avalonia Chronicles and as the name suggest it has Dragon in it just one though not three like in Games of Throne. So Aurora our protagonist hae recently learned about her Dawnstar power which are even more formidable than high Fae Powers and also she is a Dragon Lord of Abraxas who can communicate and guide her in mind just like her Pegasus Snow. Aurora already was a powerful Mage and now she has powerful Fae magic of Dawnstar, so she has become a powerful contender to become the Queen of Illiador. But she has a grave task in hand to convince the other kingdom of Avalonia to fight with her to take back her kingdom. One would think why would anyone want to help her in fight which was not even theirs to begin with. There is reason they have a common enemy Evil Queen Morgana who seemingly wants to destroy Avalonia to control all Avalonia and she has alligned with Dark forces, Drakar. Even if Queen Morgana is not inflicting enough damage on Avalonia then she wants to raise Dark lord Dragath who the most powerful Fae couldn't control(FYI Fae are more powerful than Mage). If Morgana find out the third key she will soon open the book of Abraxas and then Aurora will have to deal with the Dark Lords army which is no mean feat and even the light bringer our Dawnstar can't defeat alone (or can she?) If this is not enough for you to pick up this book then there are two devastatingly handsome Prince's who are vying for the affection of Princess Aurora Firedrake of Illiador. One is our loving Prince Rafael Ravenswood of Eldoren a mage, helper of the weak and other is a Dark Prince Tristan Nightshade of the Night Court who is a High Fae of Elite in Elfi which can kill any creature, human, mage, Drakaar or even dark Fae without blinking an eye. And Aurora is tied up between the two, Aurora heart goes to Rafe but she betrothed to Tristan and without both of their help she can't fight Morgana. She needs as much as allies as possible otherwise if Dark lord is awaken Avalonia will fall into Dark times.The main purpose of the light bringer is to save the world with her Dawnstar powers. Aurora is on the run yet again after learning her powers (which is never enough as it takes a hell lot of while to learn them, practising for years) saving slaves, fighting gorgoths, Draakar, saving kingdom's with her powers and her Dragon(only when needed).So the books is amazing and it doesn't have much romance but enough action to keep you hooked. I read the second book a long time ago so I have forgotten half of the story and names of characters but its not hard to understand the storyline. After Rafe I like the character of Penelope Aurora grandmother sister, she is high skilled Fae healer which is her most important ally she can get after our death angel Tristan (you are lucky if he is on your side in a fight if not than god save you). The book is sure a page turner as the secrets keep opening up and story keeps getting complex. Whenever Aurora finds herself in a difficult position then someone or anyone comes to her rescue. As war is on the horizon, harder it may seem Aurora has to reunite the scattered kingdoms of Avalonia then only she can defeat the evil forces of Morgana. Be it Witches, Mages, Druids or Fae everyone should reunite to save Avalonia from falling into dark times.Along with the third book the publisher has introduced new cover for the Avalonia series and they are beautiful as ever. I just have one slight problem that this book is not available in paperback in India and even if it is available then its much costly than any other book. But I would have to thank Kindle for making it available at cheaper price than paperback and hardcover version in India otherwise I might not have been able to read it.I wish and I wish this book is turned into a TV show or a movie so that I can see my favorite characters on screen. I hope it's a TV series then we can see more of them . I hope Netflix picks it up next.P.S Its an amazing series. Do pick it up you like Young adult fiction books like me.

The book creates a sense of curiosity after every line in the book.The thriller makes you want to read the book altogether at once.I would surely vote for this as the best book.Farah Oomerbhoy is an excellent author and I deeply respect her.

I got an opportunity to read the first part from wattpad.. I just loved it.. I was waiting for the next part and Kindle helped me.. I was not able to sleep before completing this book.. the author just rocked it..Great job

A fitting end to a series, thoroughly enjoyed the whole series. Very few series can uphold the interest of viewers through all the series. Just loved it and looking forward to more writing from the author in future.

Words are not sufficient to describe how good this book series is. Well paced story across all three books and not a single boring moment in the story. Anyone who loves reading magical fictional stories would love this book series.
