Perfect brush for short-haired cat
One of our cats hated to be brushed, even though she really needs it, until I finally bought this brush. Turns out she doesn't like hard bristles but loves this nice, soft brush. I was surprised to find that it removes and captures a lot of loose fur, leaves her coat soft and shiny, and she now enjoys being brushed. The brush seems to be of high quality, very happy with this. This is a shorthair cat who is loving it; we also have a long-hair cat and I think this is the perfect brush for shorthair, but not for long hair.

Nice brush. Makes her fur soft and pretty
I went with this one because of the reviews. I also liked they the bridles were t uniform, so it would reach different fur than just a completely flat surface. My cat loves this. The combs I used for shedding are getting too rough on her elderly little body. Some excess fur does come off with it, which is great. I have not seen any shedding of bristles, although there is a little card it the box explaining this is normal at the beginning of using a natural brush. I find it very easy to clean. Definitely recommend.

Soft, gentle brush. Well tolerates by a sensitive cat.
I really love this new brush for my large 3 year old cat. As for bristle loss, as per other reviews - I think I saw 1 bristle fall out - this is absolutely a non-issue. No need to worry! The brush itself feels good in the hand. I like the solid wood and the real bristles (not silicone nubs). It must feel good to my cat also, as he allowed me to brush areas he normally doesn’t like touched with other type of brushes -; such as his forehead, cheeks; belly and back haunches. These areas are typically off limits with him. I’m super pleased. I wasn’t sure what to expect but this brush exceeds my expectations for a soft, gentle cat brush. Exactly what I wanted.

Gentle brush that does the job of helping to groom your cat.
Bristles that are sturdy enough to pull out loose fur but gentle enough to give your cat a nice massage. Our cat just loves it when I brush her and is constantly purring while I do it.

Doesn't Work for Long Haired Cat
I have 2 cats, one is very nitpicky about everything including brushes.Pros: He's not opposed to getting groomed by this brush which is amazing. However this is where the con came in. My cat is a long hair and his fur is very fine. The brush isn't able to pick up any shedding fur on him. It was more effective brushing fur off clothing instead.

Really nice natural hair brush!
Nice brush. Good bristles -- stiff, but not sharp or uncomfortable. The feral cats seem to like it better than the other bristle brushes. I assume it feels more natural to them, but I've no idea. Well constructed with a decently comfortable handle, I overall think it's a really nice brush. Bought a second one for the indoor cats.

Great for skinny kitties
My old girl is frail and doesn't have much fat or muscle left on her, so regular slicker brushes are no good for her anymore. She does not like them, even as much as I tried to avoid going over her bony areas. She has stopped grooming herself long ago so wipes and the occasional bath are necessary, but after she had gotten matted so badly back a while ago, I had to find something to help keep the mats at bay after we got them shaved. This brush is super soft and gentle. She doesn't mind the strokes going over her spine or hips. Of course she lets me know when she's had enough, but it's helping me to keep her fur looking like when she was a young girl. The card that comes with the brush tells you that when you first get it, it will lose some bristles. So before I used it, I held it over the waste basket and just ran my thumb over it until I felt like enough had come out, just so it wouldn't be shedding so much elsewhere. That seemed to work pretty well because it hasn't really lost any bristles as I've been using it. It only seems like a lot come out, but the brush is pretty dense and well made. I'm glad the card came with it explaining the bristle loss.
