Really nice Monitor. I had one of these at work, so when I needed one for home I purchased the same one. Great vivid colors, hardly any glare. I just wished I purchased the larger one, it wouldn't fit on my desk. Also it's really nice to have built in speakers. Highly recommend.

Got on sale! Perfect addition to my new mini Mac. Speakers are built in. Sound is OK for occasional streaming or listening to iTunes. Only fault I can say is when using HDMI input I can't use the volume controls on my Mac keyboard, you have to wade through a layer OSD menu on the monitor to set the volume to a decent level and then use the volume control on either the strea.ing app or the music player. And each app has their own volume level so once in a while when switching apps it gets a bit loud if you forget to turn down. After much searching and troubleshooting I found out that this is NOT a fault of the monitor or Mac keyboard, but I learned that using HDMI...the output device controls the volume. Still workable and is a great monitor with vibrant display.

I saw that HP now makes monitors with the Blue Light saver stuff right in it. I have the blue light glasses but I always forget to wear them. I work on a computer 10 hours a day and I can never sleep at night because all the melatonin has been sucked out of my body by my laptop. (or at least that is my current theory). Since buying this laptop my sleepless nights are much less. I was worried about the color distortion but haven't found it to be an issue at all. In addition, I am a big fan of the color white so this is one of the few monitors you can find in "white". Overall, I would recommend this monitor to anyone that needs a good basic monitor for work. It's only 75htz so I don't know if it would work for "gamers".
