This is a great pencil box. I purchased this for my 3rd grader as he is required to keep all of his pencils, crayons, and markers in this box. My only gripe was that it was a tad small for all of the items he had to keep in it. Unfortunately for that reason I had to find a larger sized pencil box for him. But it wasn't a big deal as we can always use these for storage at home! Regardless, this is a very nicely designed pencil box. The lid stays closed securely which is great! This will definitely do the trick with all kinds of storage aside from school use. Overall I would recommend this box!

This pencil box is great- I ordered it per the school supply list. When it arrived, I was a little disappointed that it doesn't hold as much as I was expecting. It's definitely long enough for pencils/pens, I just remember pencil boxes being a little deeper to fit more. Our first grader was supposed to put all his small desk items in his pencil box and we couldn't get the crayons in with everything else. Not a huge deal at all, this might just be a better desk box for a little bit of an older kid with less bulky/fewer supplies required.Don't get me wrong, it's a great box, and the quality seems on par with other similar items.

I have a desk and there used to be a bunch of loose pencils and pens in one of the drawers. I was getting tired of having them rattle around every time I opened the drawer. Having to rummage through to find the one I wanted was taking a lot more time than I wanted to spend.So I bought this. It shipped with Prime and arrived in two days. I immediately put all of my pens and pencils into the box. Thankfully everything fit, since I only bought one and didn't have a backup plan. There was enough room left over for a small pair of scissors.The pencil box is a weird blue color and is sort of see-through. That isn't really all that useful of a feature since I already know that it has my pens and pencils in it, but if you buy a bunch of these and put different things into each one maybe that would be helpful for you.Dimensions are sufficient for what the use it's advertised for. There might be better pencil boxes, or pencil boxes with more or fancier features, but this one cost me less than $5, holes everything that I need, and fits inside my desk drawer.I highly recommend.

I order two Sterilite Pencil Boxes from Amazon. When I received the order, one of the boxes was busted. I have tried to get a replacement, Amazon re-directed me to the Sterlite site for the reporting the damage. I am satisfied with the quality of the boxes. Until I get a replacement for the busted box, I cannot rate the boxes more than three stars because of poor customer service.

Little higher price than it deserves but it works great for what we use it for.
