The original Zippo was based of a cumbersome Austrian lighter that had some good features but was difficult to use. The name “Zippo” was created by Mr Blaisdell. He liked the sound of the word “zipper” so he formed variations on the word until he settled on “Zippo,” which he felt had a “modern” sound.

Nowhere local sold replacement wicks. I have several Zippos in need of new wicks. This order allowed me to get my two favorites up and running. Easy to install, lighter sparks like new. Just what I wanted and needed.

I like that there is step by step instructions on the package! Lol! I'm sure i could have figured out how to replace the whick myself, but having directions in front of me took the guess work out.
