Yes, it has 3 nodes that can adjust the angle. You only need to adjust the angle That's it .

Q: How is the quality of this magnifying glass?

the quality is pretty good in my opinion. considering you can use this magnifying glass with a stand (great option when digging out splinters), or handheld like you Sherlock Holmes. The glass is very clear and has a smaller more powerful area embedded into the regular magnifying glass. I even use it as a flashlight once in a while because its LED's are very powerful.

Q: does this come with the usb plug in cord that is mentioned?

Hello, mine did not come with the charging cord. It does have a hole for the charging. It takes batteries thats what I have been using so far. Hope you like it, I love mine I use it as a night light too lol
