Bought this safe for my 6 year old son’s birthday. He wanted a real safe and not cheap plastic one to put his money in and any other belongings that he wants to keep safe! It has emergency keys as well as a battery operated keypad to enter the code that you select! You can pre-set and enter a code with three to eight digits in it. The safe will also alarm when someone is trying to “break into” it which he really likes!

This safe has been great, everything is very easy to use, if you want to get into it lol you know what I mean. It’s fireproof and that’s why I got it. But I do also recommend putting your money and valuables in freezer Ziploc bags so that they don’t get messed up by water if need be. But yeah, everything is great. Easy to open, everything has been good.

I have been working with a 14 y/o who is too young to open their own bank account. He has since saved up a good chunk of money working with me and has no safe place to keep it at home other than on his person in his wallet. I decided to purchase this to help him from carrying all of his cash with him at all times and encouraged him to use it as a savings account. Upon opening his safe he was ecstatic that he has a safe place to store his possessions and no other siblings can get to them. My main goal was accomplished for this safe and its a constant reminder that investing in something to protect your valuables is not a bad idea. My personal opinion upon setting the box up was that it is not heavy duty. The door has no padding between the box and the door so when it closes it clanks. I fixed this with a felt padding (no biggie). The metal is quite thin but durable. The handle is plastic and feels cheap, has a lot of play when locked but does its job. I have a feeling the handle will be the first to break. The beeping is quite loud so everyone will know you are going to open your safe soon as you start clicking around. Overall I'm happy with my purchase because it will serve its intended purpose. It may not be the strongest box out there but for the price I could not help myself. I'm sure a crowbar will open this with a bit of time but it will cause resistance and a struggle to a thief.

This safe is the perfect size for my medication that needs to be locked up. I have 7 bottles in there and they take up only 1/2 the safe. I put cash in there also. I plan on screwing it into the cupboard I put it in-just had a big surgery for fractured femur & can’t do much, it’s better than nothing for now! It’s light enough that a determined thief could just carry it out. It’s a big deterrent for ‘curious’ people who know I’ve got pain meds after surgery of a plate and 7 huge screws to put my bone back together. Too bad it’s like this these days, worried about others knowing private medical info such as what medications have been prescribed. As a nurse I’ve seen it all, even other nurses losing their careers and lives over their addictions.LOCK UP YOUR MEDS!!!

My kids wanted safes for Christmas and received these. My 6 year old immediately put his keys inside and closed the door. The keys were locked inside with no way to get them out, as batteries had not yet been put in the keypad. It seems like an obvious design flaw if it’s able to lock without using the key to lock it. I reached out to customer service and they are charging me $18 for a new key, when an entirely new safe is $32. You mean to tell me the keys make up half the cost of the safe? I have a disappointed little boy.

Good size for protecting passport, cash etc while still being able to disguise in a dorm room. I can’t speak to how it holds up to a fire, flood or other catastrophic event, but it keeps important documents in one place for a young adult.

The batteries are obviously dangeous.. good thing one was peeling or I'd pf not noticed them all bent and pushed in like this.. Also the part i side for the batteries the door is cracked.. needed so i kept it because of much company and kids and i am very sick and meds had to be safe..also money ect.. the sticker even peeled off. The system is easy to use and hard to see here but the door knob is so loose its a matter of time before it breaks completely off. I do need to purchase another safe but most definately will never agin buy this one .. Im not sure whom it came from but be making sure i do not buy from that seller. If u look at my page I buy from Amazon at least three times a week I am crippled in a house bed ridden most hours but three and im bored so I just shop and its here. I have purchased an abundant amount of mechandise and extremly honest.. Please dont get hurt with these batteries. Leaks are dangerous and also ruin what ur using them for. I stuck some Duracell in and the lock works great. I like I can change the code as many times as i like but i hate that the door is cracked. No i didnt spend a 100 dollars but its really small and I feel ripped off by this. To much teouble sending back and for me to go print labels ect is almost impossible. Plz choose wisely. I would be so upset if someone has gotten hurt. Plz check ur batteries and make sure the weak plastics are not broken and it would be great for the money.. sorry im honest.
