Fits great, looks great! I haven't hit my head yet but it's giving me the confidence that if I did, I'd be ok.

Super light, great helmet and SkateRatz is a great seller!
SkateRatz ftw! I tried a lot of helmets and THIS was the one! Very light and fits perfectly. They even included extra liners and a cool sticker that's going right on the helmet.

Good Helmet
Helmet is nice, although the extra sizing pads were not included. Thankfully S1 directly sent me some. For those with a cranium that is more on the "round" side versus usual "egg shape", make sure to try it out first if possible. I had to step up one size due to this.Other than that it's well made and stable. Straps are comfortable without being itchy. Time will tell how long it holds up. Ventilation is well placed and not overly hot.Dropped one star due to no extra pads, but later sent some after contacting S1 directly.

Out of this world
I rarely ever write reviews, but I had to for this helmet. It's expensive, yes, but it's so easy to change the sizes, the glitter is stellar, and my 4 year old loves it! They thought ahead and included padding for one size up and down. Whoever on your team did that, genius, I needed one size down and didn't have to try to go through customer service. THANK YOU!!!I'm actually going to buy one for myself.

THIS HELMET SAVED ME FROM INJURY; PLEASE BUY THIS HELMET AND WEAR IT!
I historically wore a helmet while skateboarding as a conservative measure, but I did so with the now-false expectation that I'd be quick enough--and responsive enough--to avoid any type of impact that involved my head. This is not so. In a flash, a skatepark incident caused my board to cut out from under me; and, before I could properly assess what had happened (or what was happening), my body was nearly parallel with the concrete and I felt the back of my head snap backwards against the concrete. While this split-section motion was in-process, I felt my head cradled by--and the impact absorbed by--this S1 Lifer helmet. It was an incredibly remarkable moment--not just because it happened in a split-second with zero opportunity to maneuver myself to a safer landing posture, but because the S1 Life helmet actually performed as it was intended to do and it did so with an incredibly-effective dispersion of force and momentum, keeping me from harm. I'm grateful for the engineers who created the S1 Lifer helmet; I've shared my story with neighbors and friends to encourage them to ride with a helmet; and, in the context of this review forum, I hope this message is crystal clear and resonates--because it doesn't matter what someone's perception is concerning what it means to be "cool" or "popular" or a "skilled skater"; your life matters; your health matters; your well-being matters; and, ultimately, please be that positive influence in your neighborhood, at your school, at your skate park, or anywhere, irrespective of your age or ability, by incorporating the use of a certified helmet when you skateboard. You will be elevating yourself (via your own attention to safety and well-being) and you will elevate those around you.
