Jars for water and foods whether it's canning or not
I use them for water and food storage. I don't do canning. Seldom use the metal cap and ring I get other plastic colorful lids. I like having the amber color. GREAT FOR SUN TEA - just put the water and tea ball in the jar and set it outside in the sun all day.

These jars were thick and sturdy. The dark color is appealing and also does what it is meant to do, which is keep the light out. They came with lids that sealed firmly. My only complaint, and it is a minor one, is that they had a funny, musty smell to them when we first received them. It's not a big deal, as of course I wash them out before using them for the first time, but it did seem a little odd, as I have bought jars before without the musty smell. As I said, a minor complaint and not enough to make me sorry I bought them! I was very pleased with the quality of the jars overall and the value for my money.

Great for Pantry Use
These are great size for foods in the pantry that need to be kept from direct sunlight and seal well with a vacuum sealer. I like the design as the wide mouth makes them easy to clean. There durability makes them a good value for the price.

I bought these for around the house. I’ve used them for storing seeds, dry goods, and sourdough starter. I love the dark amber color and it protects the contents from UV which breaks down many substances. I especially like the wide mouths. Would recommend
