Long...
Good for extending an internal WiFi ariel to another building, not so good for extending an external antenna as signal loss a liitle too much.

RG58 Cable
Looking at the product images and the fact it said it was RG58 cable I thought the ends were the size for satellite TV but they are not and are smaller. Thus not any good to extend my dish cable.

Great kit - improved wifi signal
These can be really useful to boosting an ipcam wifi signal. Improved the wifi signal to my security cam by 20% by extending the antenna away from metalwork.

Perfect to move a WIFI antenna to an optimum location
This 5M RG58 RP-SMA male to RP-SMA female extention cable is ideal to help locate your WIFI antenna to an optimum location such as sticking out of a window etc. I'm using this cable with an 8W 2.4GHz amplifier which has an RP-SMA antenna socket to give my GL-Inet AR-300M travel router massive coverage. This lets me locate an 18DBI antenna near a large window increasing my coverage area even more than directly plugging the antenna into the amp so I couldn't be happier. I would have expected significant losses due to the length of the cable but in real world use I've noticed no problems with local WIFI networks which still show extremely high signal to noise ratios so I couldn't be happier. Of course this will work perfectly fine with wireless USB dongles using RP-SMA jacks as well putting less strain on them. As this cable has no antenna base you would have to prop your antenna up against a surface which isn't ideal so the best way is to run this to a pigtale cable to connect to an amp or as I'm doing connecting an RP-SMA antenna base to this cable so highly recommended I can't fault the quality of this cable what so ever.

High Quality
Main use of this for me is extending the cable of my 1090mhz ADSB flight monitoring aerial. I want to move the raspberry pi a bit further away from where it is at the moment. This does the job well. The only negative I can find is that its quite tightly rolled when you get it out of the packaging and this leads to a lot of cable memory. Took quite a few other direction turns to try and straighten it out and even then, wasn't exactly straight.Jacks are well made and have no wiggle once connected. I was a little worried that the increase in cable would lead to more interference meaning less range but I've not noticed anything on the planes that I plot showing the shielding its got built in is doing its job.
