Day 1: Flimsy construction, but 5 stars cuz takes ceiling lights to a new level. So bright I have it dimmed slightly, using the remote control. And bright white for morning, 5k color for dinner, then switch to 3k (yellowish) after dinner so it doesn't interfere with getting to sleep. Looks like it has a timer, so we can get ready for bed and it'll shut itself off.Don't know if it's better to turn off with the remote or the wall switch.Wish it had a wall "holster" for the remote however. I'll have to make one somehow.3 stars for construction, but 5 stars because the features are beyond anything I've seen before!

I bought this light because I liked the style of it. It was a little finnicky to install, but for an experienced person, not that bad. The real problem is two-fold.The first problem with this light presented itself immediately. You're supposed to be able to set the color temperature from reddish light to whiteish light with the remote control. However, it does NOT remember the color you set it to. It will remember it for awhile, but one day you will turn on the light, and the color you set will be gone, and the light will be set to all the way RED. Ugly, nasty, reddish light. Then you have to pick up the remote, change the color back to what you want, and hope it remembers it for awhile. I have to change the light color back to what I want it to be every few days. This isn't just super annoying, it's a clear design defect.The second problem has happened more recently. The version I have has three different tiers of lights. Each tier lights up. However, now one tier has burned out. Instead of three lights, now it only has two lights... and one dark section, just looking sad and broken.This light is terrible quality. At first it was annoying and worked okay some of the time. Now it is broken all of the time. I regret buying it, and after only one year, now I have to buy and install a completely new light to replace this broken one!

The media could not be loaded. Slim design, jagged edges, but a little flimsy on the setup, otherwise beautiful when hung up on the ceiling!This LED light has 3 settings, Bright white, Cool, and Warm. Lights up my dining area and living room perfectly. I personally thought it would be bigger, and thus was sus when it arrived and I assembled it to see it so small. But, it ended up being more than enough!Low profile to the ceiling, fits with my modern design at home. Jagged edges and modern aesthetic.Took me 15 minutes to assemble and install.Sorry, don’t have settings saved on the remote to show off cool features as I just use it on Cool White all the time and it’s primarily off unless I need it for any specific reason since I have color changing lamps in the house lol.Otherwise, perfect.

I like the look and light produced by this fixture. I was able to assemble and install it myself, which is a plus. The remote stopped working shortly after installation and I have yet to be able to find anywhere to buy a replacement! If you needed a part for the fixture I'm sure you'd have issues too, so maybe buy the protection plan.

I did not assemble the fixture myself, had an electrician at homer for other issues and he installed the lamp immediately. the batteries inside the control remote did not work so I changed them and it worked fine.Love the fact that there different temperatures of light. For working in the room I use the strongest one, otherwise I use the warm light and before I go to sleep I can turn the light down.It is not a strong material but once installed, yo are not supposed to touch it. Asking about changing the bulbs in case of not working, the answer : Buy a new one for that price!!!!My neighbor has the same and after 4 years it still works better that the expensive ones. That was also what my electrician told me.

Bought this light months ago when we bought out house. Just got it installed yesterday. Putting this together was way harder than it should’ve been because of 1 stripped hole and 4 holes drilled too small. Took about an hour to put together when I should’ve taken 5 minutes. Once out together and installed light operates great and looks good. Lots of options as far as brightness and shade of light.

I wish I would have upgraded a long time ago. Getting to set the brightness and light color is great. It transformed my room. It looks and works great.

I bought this to be a low color temperature bedroom light. The included remote didn't seem to pair, but there was also a QR code for a app with Bluetooth control, which did work. The pairing process needs to happen within 5 seconds of the light turning on, and this involved a few power cycles of the light. Most of those times the light came up at maximum color temperature, but one of them it came up at a low color temperature (without my having succeeded in controlling it to do that).With the app I was able to easily pair and control brightness, color temperature, etc. However, after setting the light as desired, my expectation was that the light should remember those settings. It did not. Instead it would randomly come up at maximum brightness and color temperature or sometimes the desired settings. The remote had no batteries in it during this time, so was not giving conflicting commands.The other difficulty I had was that the LED diffuser is a soft rubber that fused with the styrofoam packing material on the part of the band that wasn't covered by the protective bag. This required 10 minutes of careful scraping to remove the fused styrofoam bits from the diffuser without damaging it.Overall, it only seems functional as a light that is kept constantly powered and controlled exclusively by the remote or app, rather than via the light switch.
