Works on fleas, ants, all bugs (despite name) - and relatively safe around dogs and cats
I always buy the purple Raid, because if you read the small print it is safe to spray on pet beds. I don't do that - my dog would be sniffing Raid when she is trying to go to sleep! So why mention it? Because it indicates that this Raid is relatively safe around dogs and cats. And it works great on any kind of bug. Example: a recent heat spell brought ants into my apartment, even though it is up high. A few quick puffs on bed legs and baseboards, and they were gone within minutes. It's like they signaled each other to go somewhere else. Really, just a few puffs did the job. Scent is not bad comparatively speaking. Just open the windows or turn on the air conditioning.

It worked great with just one spraying
My dog was infested with fleas. Here in California, everything to treat fleas seemed to be of an herbal nature. I read that this spray could be safely used on dogs. It worked great with just one spraying. Flea problem solved with no ill effects on my pooch!

Wrong item sent
The picture and description for this product is for the Raid Flea Carpet and Room and I was sent Raid's Flea Killer (see pic). The Flea Killer is for attacking bugs directly, while the Carpet and Room spray is used to *control* the flea population in your home by killing the pre-adult fleas and larvae.

I tried 6 natural products first because I did not ...
I tried 6 natural products first because I did not want to spray raid on my dogs. If I had bought this first I would have saved a lot of money and time. I have never had to deal with fleas before and I didn't know what I was doing -- but they are HARD to get rid of an I keep a clean house and clean dogs. Hopefully it never happens, but if my dogs catch fleas again, I'll definitely use this first and I know it will work. The sprayer button was a little hard for me to press, maybe it was user error, but thats the only non-positive comment I can give.

Does this actually work???
I love Raid and I always buy Raid products for other bugs. So when my cats and I started itching like crazy, and remembering how unsuccessful my attempts to be "natural" were last year, I figured it was time to go heavy duty to get rid of this pest fast!So I bought this and I sprayed my entire apartment. Sprayed the closets, carpets, bed, chairs, everything. It has a decent smell, not the typical Raid smell, and so I figured this was going to be my go-to from here on out. Because if I can tolerate the smell, and the cats don't seem to mind the chemicals, then we're all good.A day or two later, all of us are still itching and I'm finding new bites on me. So I decide to use a flea comb on my kitties to get some of the fleas off them. I get some fleas in the comb and I'm excited to spray them with Raid and watch the bastards die. Alas, I spray them and they just start swimming...I say swimming because the comb was literally saturated with the product to the point a small puddle formed on the comb. I tell myself, "Maybe it just takes a bit of time?". So I wait for a few minutes, watching the fleas swim through the Raid on the comb......finally, I determine that this product is a bust and I rinse the comb and go about my day...I am unsure what happened or why this product has so many good reviews. How did the spray not kill the fleas for me? Did I just buy a lemon? Do I have mutant fleas? Nonetheless, if you are considering this product, be mindful that it may not work...try testing the product like I did, just to see the effect it actually has on the fleas...

doesn't work for long, & double the price, price gouging..
I used the whole can just in my kitchen area & my hall mat. Yes, it does kill them, but doesn't last for 4 months like it claims. I just had to order 2 more bottles. I don't have carpets, and don't have cats downstairs, so why should I have to keep treating everyday??? The price on Amazon is double the price when you can get it else where. The only reason I use Amazon is because it's a 2 day shipping... Sorry
