Small box, big sound
I have a little man cave and lots of records, 2 turntables and small book shelf speakers. I studied the amplifiers and was keen on remote control, good sound, headphone options and listening to my vinyls.Setting up the speakers was simple. Plugging a Turntable into the Phono jacks was simple. Listening to FM radio was a challenge until I turned the mode knob to CD and other inputs. This isn’t the amplifier from college days. This is surprisingly compact with the sound and volume options easily adjusted with the remote. The value is excellent compared to other amps and memories of the 1960’s and 70’s.Addition. The turntable’s volume would not adjust manually or with remote. The Pyle customer support was useless. Voice prompts uniformly led to hang up. Amazon support took awhile and had me blasting Sgt Peppers in about 40 minutes.

Works ok after I finished wiring it
Pyle is exactly what the name sounds like “ a huge Pyle of crap “ . I got this hoping to push a small sound system and when it arrived everything looked ok , but QC must not pay attention or not exist at all . The display on my unit would not power on but the unit would make a little noise . I then opened the box to find some plugs not plugged in at all . I put them in their places and now have a working unit . On top of all that the amp is kinda staticky at certain volumes . Would definitely recommend a higher tier amp even if powering something small like me . It’s not worth the hassle .

Test Optical function from your output TV or some thing .
I tested most functions as soon as i got it .Amplifier clarity seems to be ok.Fidelity missing .Good sound for the price . I tried optical input feature from my TV ..there was heavy noise like vibrationI had to change TV digital out to PCM from Auto . Unless you know this it doesn't receive audio watch out.If you use the input mode the Vol control won't work on remote . The FM feature is not bad good for samll rooms or college students . I will End in +note Bass know is great incrementally adding so much Bass for this price cannot be seen in 400$ amplifiers.

Remarkably good
It's a $50 stereo. Yep, the controls are a little confusing and the antenna connector works but is odd. The instructions are minimal.Saying all that, it works pretty well. I have a set of low impedance speakers and it gets plenty loud and the sound quality is not going to be 'high end' but it's better than I anticipated. Hook up was minimally difficult. The TV in my set up uses Toslink optical input. I had to set the TV from auto to PCM but after doing that, it worked perfectly.

Couldn't be happier.
I was skeptical that I could get a receiver at this price point which would not only be able to be used to play vinyl records, which is why I needed a receiver, but to play from my phone, from an SD card, from USB, from the radio, etc. It comes with a remote control, also. I won't get much, if any use, from the microphone inputs but there are two and each of those mic inputs has a few controls. I am really enjoying this and I have only had it for a few days!!

Product description
This looked like just what I needed. I will tell you folks what this thing actually is next.I wanted something to consolidate my audio inputs and give me a remote with volume and input selection. Short story – this unit will NOT do that.I went the used route from Amazon. The first one had no output on the speakers or headphone jack. Amazon, of course took it back. The second one did have speaker output, but the 3.5 mm headphone jack didn’t work. Another review said they tried twice with the headphone jack problem. I wish I had paid attention. You could pull it out a bit and wiggle it into intermittent sound but alas another dud. So back it went. The second one worked good enough to evaluate it.What you have here is a reasonably good analog amp with knob selectors for various line inputs and 2 speaker outputs. You can mix that with 2 microphone jacks with knobs for levels. Knobs for treble, bass, and levels. A knob for output volume. All the analogue works fine with knobs. Then - kludged onto this is, AND TOTALLY SEPARATE, is the blue tooth, radio, digital audio, and remote control. I mean totally separate. The remote only works the kludged part. The volume on the remote only works the kludged part. If there is a signal on the line in, the analog wins and the kludged part doesn’t work at all till you turn the selector to an input with no signal. So, if you can get one that does work, don’t expect the remote to select line inputs or control volume from them. It’s knobs and input selectors for the analog, period.I wasted way too much time on this already. Haven’t tried it all. Just sending back. I will also note that the near useless remote also lacks sensitivity. Point right at it from close. If you want a small analog amp with multiple inputs and microphones for mixing with knob control, get a NEW one and hope. You even get a separate add on gee wiz of Bluetooth, radio, digital audio, …, and a remote for just those add ons.

Coax input filled with static
Remember folks, this is a $70 stereo amp. Its not for big speakers. It powers bookshelf speakers fine. Its not 200w. More like 20-25w would be more accurate. The 200w in listing is highly misleading. The Bluetooth connected to my iPad with ease. Sound quality with RCA inputs was fine. But, I bought this ONlY because it offered Coax Digital input. Unfortunately, that input was filled with static and unusable. My TV output is fine, as it works with my old amplifier. So, I’m returning it for that reason.

Perfect for my gym needs
I really can't say as I dislike anything. I mean the price was good and I have actually left thing turned on for days by accident and no issues. Sound is pretty decent through my Bose speakers that I already had. Probably will get one for my son as a gift for his home gym.
