Q: Does this usb / sae apater draw any power when not connected to a device and motorcycle is off? i don't want battery to drain.

Connect an inexpensive SAE on/off switch (ASIN B0B58GL7RJ) between the SAE connectors for peace of mind.

Q: Question to seller. i've been using my motopower usb charger for my iphone xr. after few days seems to be slow at charging . why?

Mine lasted about a year and then stopped working

It worked on my iPhone 7 just fine slow to charge but did the trick. Think my wife charged her X and did fine also. Just very slow.

it will charge @ 3.1amp rating, which is more than most rapid charges out there.
