Great product. Just what I needed!
This is exactly what I needed. I work outside gardening in Fl where the heat and humidity are intense during the summer months. Having this fan that blows on my face not only keeps me cool but blows the bugs away. I also like the ability to adjust the neck size. I have gotten used to the sound of the fan, however I can still have a conversation with people.

Great for dogs in tornado shelter.
We're in the tornado shelter and the dogs are panting like crazy. Put this around their neck & cooled them down very quickly. Love it for that reason if nothing else. Can feel the cool breeze on the dogs face. Thanks to the genius that created this.

A little disappointed at the removal of the intermittent feature
This is my third or fourth purchase of this neck fan over the past few years. Each time I've needed to replace them was due to my own negligence; the first one was a casualty of working in a fast-paced retail environment sometimes six or eight feet up proved to be too severe of a fall for them after multiple occurrences, and understandably so; the fact that this happened several times and it *kept* working is impressive.Eventually I found straps (https://a.co/d/0iXC3HaV) that I slipped over each side and latched together similarly to eyeglass straps, allowing me to lessen the chances of the fan falling off my neck from the top of a stepladder, but also allowed me to disconnect quickly if needed; I replaced the carabiner with a small metal o-ring (https://a.co/d/0fGOOzRT) for a more slimlined fit.My most recent Comlife fan had a reasonably long life until I inadvertently discovered that one must be quite gentle inserting the USB-C charging cable to preserve the soldering for the charging port. I was in a rush to get it charging, pressed too hard and unfortunately this proved fatal for an otherwise flawless experience.I was excited to open a brand-new one tonight and was a little disappointed to learn that the intermittent setting - a brilliant idea and hands-down the MOST useful feature for my circumstances, allowing me to work my entire shift on a single charge - has been removed. It also now has a very prominent "COMLIFE" logo on both sides that I'm not entirely thrilled about instead of the previous pleasantly blank and nondescript appearance; I'm hoping my employer doesn't have any issues with me now being a walking billboard for the brand.Overall I've raved about this neck fan but it now remains to be seen if this "new and improved" iteration is as capable as its predecessor. Battery life is crucial for me and if it's diminished by inexplicably removing intermittent mode without addressing the aforementioned brittle soldering it might spell disaster.I'm cautiously optimistic but wary of potential disappointment. I just wish it would've been more clearly indicated that multiple significant product changes had occurred so loyal fans of this fan aren't taken by surprise.

I went with a different model
I bought this for use at work in a warehouse environment with physical work, and no type of climate control for summer or winter, but decided it wasn't for me when the warehouse (smartly) decided to give us our own neck fans and I subsequently purchased a second of the other brand after using that one.First off, this fan is very very light on the neck, and I thought it was nice that it was easy to adjust due to the articulation area on the neck. However, due to this there is no space for vents on the back of the neck area where air can blow, so the back of my neck was getting hot.It makes noise obviously while it's on, louder with each speed setting, but I doubt you can find one that doesnt. It's not unbearable and doesn't impact any conversation you can have, it's just like a white noise. It does blow air from the air around you, so whatever temperature you're in, is the temperature air you're going to get blown at you, but any breeze is better than no breeze, and from my research all models do this, unless you're getting a model worth hundreds of dollars that's labeled as AC, but that's outta my price range, so I'm never gonna find out. This model has a nice curve to it that will rest around your shoulders, that being said, because of this, it is very long. This model would be good for people with large heads and/or thicker necks. When I used this, I was constantly trying to adjust it because I didn't feel like I was getting air blown at my face or neck where I wanted it, and quickly got fed up.Also, I fully charged this device the night before my shift, (it has a 3 light battery indicator) and even on the lowest setting, it already lost a light after only 2 hours (my shift is 12 hours long) whereas the model my job gave us, has lasted for the full 12 hours on a single charge at the lowest setting. It does use a USB C charger, which is nice everything is starting to use that, and it comes with a charging cord, but no outlet block.
