Outer casing melted.
Outer casing melted with first use. It sealed the bags well, but very disappointed that we will not be able to use it again.

Good but not for to long
I used this the shrink wrap some of my products and when I first used it it seemed great but after a while it had the plastic stuck to the sealer and then it wasn't working. It smelt horrible and smoke was coming off it so I left it and scraped the plastic off then when I continued, the strip on the heat sealer began to brake until I had to replace it. So overall it's good so long as you don't have to much to do.

Works great
I've had this device for a few years now but only just got around to doing a review. It comes with a few spare teflon strips which is nice to have but I haven't had to use them yet. I've sealed hundreds of things in mylar bags for long term storage. No issues as of yet. Does what it needs it.
