Amazing silent fan
I order two silent fans and replace a very loud original fans for network switch. Amazing performance no sound at all.

Fast becoming my favourite little fan
I got these as part of my tightly controlled air-flow solution (together with a roll of Gorilla Tape)! The horizontal fan behind them creates a fast-moving vertical column of very cold air, which prevents heat build-up in the very top of the case (useful given the poor heat-management of the VRM-modules on the MSI X570-Pro A), and the two sweet little Noctuas drive some of this cool air straight across the metal back-plate of the RTX-3070 and out via the rear exhaust without passing go or collecting £200. Thus ensuring the upper half of the case never gets to 40 degrees C on a Summer's day whatever else is going on around the system.I'm about to buy 2 more of these to create some cyclones around those crappy VRM heatsinks and the somewhat poor MOSFETS below them. They push an amazing amount of air for their size and surprisingly low noise levels: ideal for chaining as "slaves" to other fans and sticking to the motherboard with Gorilla Tape in order to create motherboard-surface-level air flow around its larger components.

A great little fan
The difference with these fans installed is night and day,I have installed these in the Ubiquiti UniFi Security Gateway Pro, it is enterprise grade equipment that has been designed with function as a priority, so as stock the noise levels are ridiculous for a home / home office environment. After installing these fans I immediately saw a reduction in sound, there is still an audioable noise level, it’s not silent but there 40mm so you have to expect some noise. These are a direct swap for the fans installed in the UniFi USG and come with an array of mounting and speed adjusting parts, I have just mounted mine with the main cable, without adjusting the speeds or using rubber mounting hardware.

Cooling the NZXT H1 hotbox
Full declaration i'm a Noctua fan, but not without justification. Who else will provide an AM4 mounting kit posted FOC for a cooler they released in 2009 (NH-D14)? Which until 2019 was running with the original fans!Having switched from a full ATX case with the NZXT H1 i found the thermals to be less than ideal. A Ryzen 3800X combined with a RTX2070 Super meant that there is alot of heat in the case and no active way to get rid of it. A genius on Reddit figured out these fans fit in the back of the chassis and can help expel the heat (no larger fans will fit unless you bolt them to the outside).I've got 3; 1 for the CPU side and 2 for the CPU side. Do they help? Yes, with a reduction of 4-8 degrees. Not alot, but enough to keep the card from tripping over the thermal throttling threshold. They are silent until temperatures from the CPU hit the 70s when they kick in. Yes at 100% they are audible, but it's a high pitch whine. There is the usual Noctua quality, and colour scheme (more Chromax please!). Definitely recommend these if you have an NZXT H1. Some people have gone as far as adding 4 or 5, too many for my liking.Great little fans.

Noctua, king of fans!
Bought these as replacement fans for the noisy ones that ship on the 24 port POE UBNT switch. This switch is in our bedroom and sounds like a plane taking off when the fans kick in. The issue with the fans only started after a specific firmware update where UBNT changed the functionality of the fans so that they turned on at a lower temperature as they were experiencing failures due to heat. This was annoying as up until then the unit had been quiet.I fitted these into the switch, they were not a direct replacement as noctua don't do a fan in the dimensions I needed, but there was just enough space to put these in, but it also required me creating some ducting inside the fan from scrap plastic so that the air flow was correct. They lose a few points because they're expensive, but they are the best.
