I bought this for my son's 3rd birthday hoping that it would help with potty training. It did not. However, it did bring a significant amount of joy. The "poop" did not last long. It was quickly dispersed all over the rug and coffee table. Not the worst part. The noise and movements it makes while pooping are hilarious yet absurd. It repeats everything it hears in a supremely creepy voice. 😳 Everything. I mean everything. Anything said on TV, conversations from far away, kids yelling down the stairs...everything. Fortunately for me, my son decided he needed a bath after about an hour or two of pooping and repeating. I thought it was broken forever and I was delighted as I could not believe I was dumb enough to purchase this toy. I am pretty sure my partner was googling local divorce attorneys. He was only in a coma and came back to life a few days later. The good news is that is very difficult to turn on and off. I keep it OFF. This a great gift for that parent you cannot stand or as a great gag gift. I promise kids will love it, at least my three boys sure did. It is messy, loud and will cause adult nightmares.

I bought this as a potty training tool for my son and he LOVED it. It worked, cool.However, this thing repeats you in a very high mocking tone. The sensitivity of its hearing is quite insane (as I write this my son is biting an apple and it’s repeating that sound). My 3yo has now made it his very best friend and I just need it to break. It WILL NOT DIE. He throws it down flights of stairs, bashes it on walls, it is abused daily. And 18 months later it still mocks me. Literally and figuratively. So yeah, it’s an incredibly durable product with sensitive hearing, but make a rule that it can’t leave the bathroom from day 1.

Very impressed with the speed of delivery.....took only 3 days from Hawaii to my home in dearborn michigan.......and that's with using the united states postal service which is not known for fast delivery. Grand daughter loved the flamingo toy and so very happy it arrived the evening before Christmas morning.

This is EASILY one of the worst toys I’ve ever bought for my children. My just-turned 5 year old is obsessed With flamingoes so I was searching for any flamingo toy I could find. I read through the reviews on this and noticed the bad ones but took a chance cause I thought she’d find this hilarious. And she did…for the single time that it worked. It took one poop in the toilet and then the food would no longer go down it’s throat. It continued to talk and repeat what she was saying at that time though. She opened this gift on a Thursday. It is now the following Monday, a whopping 4 days later, and it doesn’t work at all. Tried new batteries, nope. It’ll make a small noise like it’s trying to go but nothing happens. At least she still likes to pretend it’s using the toilet 🤷🏼‍♀️ oh and also, the sand makes a complete and total disaster I’m pretty sure there’s bits of it in every room of my house.

My kid loves it but the sand is incredibly messy. There are holes in the sides/back of the mouth that allow the sand to easily fall out, even with the beak closed. And once it is out, it is very difficult to clean up. Every time we touch it, there is another hard to clean mess.The sand containers also aren't very secure and open too easily. On top of that, I had to change the batteries after about 5 poops. The cheap batteries that came with it must have been old.Disappointing because we really liked the concept and thought it would be helpful with potty training. We're going to find some kind of Tupperware to always keep it in so the sand stays contained. Otherwise it is a huge hassle.
