The speakers produce a lot of bass.
The sound quality of the speaker is nice and clear with a voice amp connected to the speaker. The speaker itself looks of high quality, and the tweeters scream. The Speakers also produce a lot of bass. The speakers fit my 2016 ram 1500 single cab but only in the back cab corners, Also only two of the four screws fit. They will not fit in the front doors.

Used in Home Theater
I used these for Home theater because my surround system just put to much sound into my airspace after moving into a smaller house. I still use a Klipsch LaScala for my center channel but the rest are these (3-way) in Rockville black housings (Made for marine applications) I ran 10 gauge through my ceiling and dropped down with a swag chain for each. Running them with 280watts each from my Denon. They sound clean. I am happy with them, for a living room application they could put out a bit more low end. I have to cross them over to my subs at 100hz (only for the ones farthest from listening position) due to not enough sound to compete coming from them below there (would probably be plenty in a vehicle due to so much less airspace). Anyways they do sound great. I purchased these because I believe them to be the best 6x9s you can get and I wanted a satellite type surround system that exceeded anything I could buy ready made. If I find a better 6x9 I will buy them and update this review.

4 t1692s in boxes amped
I have four of the 2 way t-1692s off a 400 watt skar mini amp pushing 100w 4ohm to each one.My god. At half volume on my headunit they are louder and clearer than my stock Harmon kardon speakers at full volume. At full volume? Forget about it. I feel like I could play music for an entire stadium. Prob not lol but it sure feels like it. 75% volume on my headunit is my “recklessly blasting my favorite song and risking hearing loss to do it” volume now.If you’re looking for some 6x9s this is it, and do yourself a favor and give em their 100w RMS. So good. Even does some decent mid bass, even without my subwoofer box in when I was tuning, it almost felt like I had a 200w Walmart subwoofer in my car still.Case in point these speakers are so good that I actually went out of my way to write a review.

Big and loud
Just installed these in the back deck of my fusion to replace my jl tr 6/9's, to pair with my rockford punch 600/4,The jl's were ok but were maxed out on this amp trying to keep up with my 6.5" alpine type r components in the front. If you read the reviews the people that don't like these do not have an amp on them. These are 100 watts rms, they will never sound good directly off a radio because they are designed to have a decent amount of power going to them.Paired with this amp they sound great, got the two ways instead of the 3 ways like my old jls because i like full sound not treble rebel. The magnets are large and i had to replace my old connections because the terminals are larger, but they do handle twice the power so this is needed. They look and sound great and for less than $100.00 you cant beat um if you're a rockford fosgate fan. If you want cheap affordable speakers then these speakers may not be for you.But since i'm swapping from soundstream amps and subs and going all punch, the sound differance is amazing!

Hittin hard and sounding clear!!!
I am a huge fan of Rockford Fosgate and these speakers are a big reason why. I have 2 pair of these RF T16X9s custom installed in a 94' Tahue. One pair installed on the side panels for the back passengers to enjoy at seat heighth with tweeter firing up.The other set i customized where the stock 4x10s in the roof where,(i had replaced stock 4x10s w/ Kenwwods) and they sounded ok but i am all about more....these speakers when powered and tuned right hit like 8" subs at the least. So impressed with there sounds. Recently bought a new RF Power T400-4 to run them, i know they need more power but with 3 RF 12"s and 2 RF T1 15"s whos gonna hear them anyway....lolI suppose without subs there would be some great lows and mids to hear. But hey buy them and see for yourself. I love there sound1Thanks Rockford!
