Desk lamps (2 purchased) came packaged well in sturdy boxes. Bulbs were included but needed to be tightened down into their sockets before use. Energy efficient LED bulbs (9w) with an equivalency in brightness to a standard 60w incandesent bulb. Light temperature/color (3000K) is not too yellow or white but in between. Construction is sturdy having a strong clip and gooseneck. Have had no problems with any sagging of the gooseneck or the clip not holding well. Lampshade is made of a thin lightweight metal yet plenty durable. Rotating on/off switch on back of lampshade is grooved for easy non-slip operation. Has a good solid positive click and not mushy in the slightess. Power cord measures approximately 4 1/2 feet in length. Very happy I purchased two and would purchase again if needed.

We were looking for a clip on desk light that would take regular light bulbs, and this was it. Simple, sleek and functional. It was a great deal and suits our needs perfectly.

The description was accurate. The lamp seems to be good quality and workmanship. It is very useful, as it can be clamped onto the desk or wherever you need it. 800 lumens is bright enough for any reading or desk work.The clamp is really hard to squeeze to get it open to go onto an edge. However, once we got it clamped on, it certainly will not fall off!

- This lamp uses a standard (replaceable) light bulb, so the lamp doesn't spontaneously turn into landfill waste when the light burns out.- The power switch is on the lamp housing itself instead of inline with the power cable, which means you don't have to reach down and fish the cable out from behind your nightstand to turn it on if you use it as a bedside lamp like I do.These two features alone make this lamp pure feng shui. They're also the only two features it has (aside from the spring clamp.) It also plugs into a regular power outlet instead of using some sketchy USB thing. Simplicity is so beautiful.

Both the light and on/off switch on top works. I did switch out the warm light bulb for a daylight one. The neck moves around nicely and has stayed in whatever position that I put it in. It's short, but it's at a height that works for my needs. My only gripe is the clip. Although it is strong enough to stay on the edge of a desk, if you move the light around, the clip will move with it. I'm constantly moving the light and having to re-adjust the clip to hold it to the desk. This gets old and frustrating real quick. Had my kids not tore up the box, I would have returned this and purchased a light that clamps on to the desk instead.

Simple perfection. Repurposed into a grow light fixture. I'm a plant enthusiast and rather spend money on plants as opposed to expensive grow light fixtures.I clamped it on my secretary and replaced bulb with a warm grow light bulb.Very sturdy. I've read comments about the light switch being problematic. Simply plug light fixture into a multi plug power strip and turn off / on using the power strip in lieu of the fixture knobs.it will never be a problem and you won't have to reach for the knobs if fixture is mounted high ( you're welcome).I'm very happy with my inexpensive purchase.
