This is a great product for the price! A must for a starting career.

Bought this at the same time as the ION Audio Job Rocker Plus to use as a portable PA system on the outdoor firing range when I run classes. I generally have 40 or so people per class. I bought this unit specifically because I read good reviews concerning this unit with in concert with the Job Rocker Plus. It works just as advertised. The range and battery life are as stated. You get more battery life if you remember to turn off the unit when not using it. Having not read the manual completely, the first time a low battery indication came up and the unit stopped working I didn't know what the problem was. When I had time after class to look at the manual, it was clear I had just run the battery down. One convenient thing is that the base and transmitter can be recharged from a USB Y-cable included in the box. It plugs into a USB port in the front of the Job Rocker so I can recharge on site. The unit can be used either handheld or via a headset arrangement that holds the mic in front of your face. The one thing you should be aware of is that the mic is very sensitive, so you will need to turn the volume down on the mic if you need to have a conversation that you don't want broadcast over the PA. Just pulling the flexible boom away from your face won't do it. It can still pick up your voice.

I needed an inexpensive mic that would work with multiple speakers at different pools. This one is great!! It does not cut out the music when I speak, it has adjustable volume at the earpiece. I use it for Aqua Zumba and the base is about 20 feet away from me and it works well! So well, the gym is investing in two for other instructors to use also.Update 10/2023-Using this mic 3-4 hours per week, it recently started cutting in and out. So I would say it worked well for about 8 months. Still a great mic for the price, just do not expect it to last a long time.

Used for my multistomp and it works well with no delay

I bought this item in May 2017. I tried it through the PA for a couple minutes and decided I didn't want to use it (I liked a different type better, one with a wearable speaker that I had already been using.) It was literally on for three minutes, and I put it away. I decided to keep it in case I changed my mind in the future. Fast forward to December when I found a good use for it - for a student (I'm a teacher) to wear during a musical number where they had some speaking lines. Took it back out of the box, and it was immediately flakey. The adapter to connect to quarter-inch input in the PA was SUPER loose, providing VERY intermittent and unreliable connection. Tried for several days and could not get it to work. Just touching it would make it crackle. Needless to say, I'd had it way too long to return it and at that point so ended up buying a different brand that a colleague recommended, which worked for four shows flawlessly and had a MUCH more secure connection.

I've been an instructor for four years and this is the best mic I've ever had. It's extremely easy to use, just plug the receiver into the stereo and make sure the ON buttons are switched and the lights on the receiver and mic are blue. Bam, done!I've had no issues with this mic at all. Sound quality is good and is honestly going to correspond to your stereo quality. I've never had the mic fade in or out. The only thing that's happened is that when the master volume is too loud, the mic will become static like when I yell. But, this was a stereo issue, not a mic one. The master volume just needed turned down and the iPod volume needed turned up.I actually bought a second one to stash at work in case I subbed for someone throughout the day and left my bag at home.Battery lasts a while. I can teach at least 3-4 one hour classes with this. I haven't tried to teach longer than that without charging since I'm paranoid.Definitely recommend for all instructors!!

Received this product and I think it is very good. The problem I have is I am a dance instructor. I use a Block Rocker for my music and it has a separate plug (the larger one for a handheld microphone and and auxiliary jack as well as a bluetooth connectivity). Typically I can plug into the microphone jack and it has its own controller for voice volume which is separate from the music or auxiliary or Bluetooth. The problem is, it is a handheld mic and I can't dance with that. I am trying to replaced that with a wireless headset. So I was excited to see this was a wireless device that plugs into the aux input but ALSO has an adapter so it will go into the larger microphone jack (exactly what I needed). Unfortunately the microphone jack adapater does not work. Everything else on the device works wonderfully, but perhaps mine was defective. The adapter seemed like an after-thought just kind of thrown in. It just doesn't work. I see no way to contact the company either. Item works great otherwise. I would definitely rate a 5-star from me if the adapter works, but since it does not, it is virtually useless for me.

I got this headset mic for my portable pa system do to outdoor public speaking. As with all rechargeable devices, first you have to make sure it's charged all the way (both the receiver and the headset-it comes with a splitter usb cable for both). Then you just plug the receiver into either a standard 3.5mm or 6.35mm jack, turn on both the receiver and headset, and you're good to go. I've used this headset mic on various types of portable pa systems and it's one of the best mics I've used for this purpose.
