According to the MSDS I have for it, it contains the same active ingredient that's used in many of the top brands, HEPD, which is the preferred metal sequestrant of many of the TroubleFreePool.com gurus. Q: Will this product remove cobalt?

It is suppose to eliminate all metal. It works in my pool

Q: Will this remove the iron from the bottom of my pool? I do not have a pool filter

I do not know if it will do that. I use it when I fill my hot tub and it has a filter.
