This was my first time using this type of peppercorn, so it was a bit of an odd thing initially.But the scent - oh, such a great smell when you pull this out and grind it. Great flavors.

Premium quality, very fragrant & fresh. No seeds. I actually had to add less to my recipes because it is more potent than the other "premium" brands I've used. Will buy this again.

These are very fragrant. A manual grinder does not grind them very easily, they are too light. An electric grinder will work with them fine. Or you can use your own pestle and mortar :)

Got these to make Lao Gan Ma style Chili Crisp.My understanding is Sichuan peppercorns aren't known for their heat, they are more known for the numbing effect.These have a really wonderful fragrance .And, I am going to need to dial them back in my Chili Crisp recipe because they have abundant numbness!!!Very impressed!
