Easy up/down
I wanted an inexpensive cantilever umbrella because the winds get brutal here in the Midwest so if it got ruined, wouldn't be too upset. I was leary of this type since I'd had one before and was quite dangerous getting it down. This one works perfectly, smoothly up and down without worrying if I'm going to break a finger. Provides great shade and pivots if you want to change position. I used 100lbs of sand to put on stand and no wobbles. Nice umbrella.

Deliver, box was ripped open a little. Seems to be okay I will check better when I set it up.

Red?
Well it’s easy to crank up. It’s waterproof. It blocks the sun. But, you really have to crank the screws to keep it from blowing around. It was red when I got it but 1 month later it’s kind of like a purplish. After a rain when I pick up the arm to extend it (using two hands because the plastic doesn’t seem strong. One on the piece that slides up the pole and the other on the crank) and start cranking it leaks a lot of water out of the crank housing. If it’s like my last umbrella I’ll be changing broken rotted cords a lot.For what I paid for it I suppose it’ll work out fine protecting my pellet grill on those long smokes during sudden rains.

What's not to love.
It's on my back deck and have its "back" to the west, where our predominant winds come in from. It shades a 2-seater bench, and both my grills. Keeps the deck cool too. So easy to close for the night and comes with a tie strap on the canopy so you can snug it up closed. It's a 10' x 10' area and it shades it all most of the day, as the sun sets you can raise and angle the canopy to accommodate wherever you want to sit. Looks great next to my pool. If you want to face it into your predominant winds you will not fare so well. I am not strong enough to tighten the canopy adequately to stop it from shifting away from the wind.

cheap, and getting what you pay for
fabric is very thin. it feels like your getting what you pay for. ours came with 2 small holes in the top, after setting it up in a light breeze the top just spins around and is very annoying and flops all over.

So easy to open.
I bought this umbrella for my balcony. As a 65 year old lady, I was so happy with the ease of assembly, and the ease of opening it. It keeps the balcony cooler, and the living room as well.
