The product was easy to use. No additional drivers were needed for installation or use. I would recommend this product and buy again if I need an second one.

Has worked flawlessly so far. This is my go-to adapter when I'm on the road and need to give a presentation - I can use my own computer and work with any display!

It's not working. I followed the instructions to lower my resolution until a picture shows up on the tv but nothing. Very disappointed I was looking forward to using it! I'm IT so I know what i'm doing, however this thing is simply defected, i'm sure it'd be 5 stars if it was working.UPDATE - The company apologized and offered me a free one that would work. I however already have another one, but I appreciate them being honest and forward with me.

I thought this was a great idea. Purchase a display port connector that can connect your monitors period. Old monitors, new monitors, TVs you name it this adapter works with all of them. It lasted long enough to be past the 30 return window and then it didn't. You have to wiggle it to get it to work and I am not going to damage my brand new computer by attaching something that only works when you wiggle it. I purchase two and the second one works fine, so I know its defective, but in Amazon land if it breaks after the 30 days you are stuck with it. So do not waste your money

Works as advertised. I love it. Plug and play. I no longer have to worry about video compatability as I travel (until the next great cable idea comes out).

Displayport is a useful port which can be used to connect video to various sources like HDMI, VGA, DVI and so on. A nice thing about DisplayPort is that its backwards compatible with older technologies like VGA, DVI and HDMI. The purpose of this display port adapters from cabledeconn is just to enable use of these older technologies.The packaging includes one displayport adapter, a warranty card and an instruction manual to aid users. The product seems to be made of superior quality plastic.The wire connecting the display port to the adapter is sturdy and will last for a long time.I wanted to hook up multiple displays i.e. 2 monitors with my laptop. I did not have much problems in hooking up the displays as I was able to use this adapter for both audio and video content. The adapter also worked at the max 1920x1080 resolution. Surprisingly, I didnt have much problems with noise. Unfortunately, one can only use more than one output simultaneously and there is no audio output through the VGA and DVI.Overall this is an okay displayport adapter. It would have been much better if more than one output could be used simultaneously. I would recommend this just for basic use.
