Perfect replacement
After a power outage and a power surge, my directv had an error it had no connection with the SWM dish. After replacing the splitter, I determined the power surge blew out my LNB. This LNB was easy to install and a perfect fit. Now I have my directv back with a strong signal.

DTV at your own risk
Works ok. Main issue is with DTV service to RV. Moving from one area to another requires a lengthy call to DTV which may or may not work for you. Long for the days of Distant Network Service!

Perfect fix
I used this to replace a SL3S4NR5-01 LNB, which looks a bit different. Worked great.I lost a few of my DirecTV channels suddenly and got the 771 error code. All my coax connections looked good and there weren't any obstacles or bad weather. The LNB was the next likely culprit. It seems that many of the SWM LNBs are interchangeable so I ordered this one. It installed with no tools and immediately fixed my reception problem.
