The dust collection is amazing and has great power. The suction is great and rarely ever misses any dust.

Works Great they are there only competition in this market. And this is also expensive but what are you going to do if you want quality.

Works really good for fine sawdust from my sander and sliding compound miter saw. Does not work well for vacuuming up from a router (hose is to small and the longer wood pieces stop the hose up)

Quiet and powerful. I really like the power on outlet for the sander. No dust when using the sander attachment.

Not just this product, but the sanders I have bought have made my life so much easier. The product is not cheap, maybe overpriced compared to some other alternatives, but everything works together. As I said in the title, it is addictive. Sanding is the least enjoyable thing in most jobs, but this dust collector, twined with their sander makes it much more tolerable. The paper does help, good quality paper and sander.It is my understanding, that contractors working in peoples homes must use HEPA filter dust collectors, this I can assure you leaves very little dust behind.Hope this helps.

Lightweight, great suction, works with all my tools from different manufacturers. I did add the Bluetooth module for added functionality .

Forget what you've been taught about tools being only just as good as the person on the other end using it.I've cheaped-out many a time thinking I could do with just a shop vac and some accessories. That seemed to work for years for dust control, though I must say the entire thing was not pleasurable by any means. Dustbowl to the max in my workshop on the daily.I finally was able to scrape up some money and thought I'd give this thing a try after many disastrous shop-vac attempts.Wow is thing amazing. It does what I thought vacuums were designed to do, which is to suck it up. I mean all of it! I have so much less clean up to do thanks to this thing.Highly recommend it. Now I am going to see what else I've been missing out on with the other Festool power tools.

The hose is a bit small for sucking up construction debris and frequently clogs at various points in the system. I like the remote switch at the end of the hose but it’s easy to accidentally shut it off. I bought the cyclone device and it hasn’t collected much in it and makes the total unit almost 5’ high which is unwieldy to move around. The cyclone’s attachment strap’s clips keep popping open making it even sloppier to move around. Overall this is primarily aimed at power tool dust collection not construction cleanup per se because of the smaller hose diameter. Keep in mind that the smaller hose diameter increases velocity for fine dust collection for power tools. With the strong trend towards cordless tools, not sure how the automatic start/stop can work with them….?
