Logan Graphic Products 270 Replacement Mat Blades, Package of 50, Blister Pack (270-50)

I have a VERY old Logan mat cutter. I probably bought it in the late 1980's. Yes, I'm old. These blades work perfectly and they are very sharp. Professional mat cutters are expensive. I'm not knocking them. But it's easy enough to do it yourself when money is tight. With these new blades I was able to re-mat some of my pictures. Professional? No. But pretty darn good.

My Logan mat cutter is about 40 years old and still works perfectly. I do need blades and hard to find them in art and craft stores so I bought a lifetime supply at once.

These fit properly and were sharp.

You can never have enough replacement blades - I hate buying just one or two at a time. The price point per blade is much nicer. I just got muy Logan Matter cutter so I am not sure how many cuts I will be getting out of each blade. I wanted to be sure I had enough just in case. 5-stars

Holds its edge well and fits both the Logan mat cutter and matboard cutter. I sue it for several cuts when cutting matboard to size and reverse it after every two mat openings I cut before I toss it.

very sharp and convenient

The blades are replacement for the 2 that came with the mat cutter. We use the mat cutter for trimming down large parchment paper to 4x4 squares for baked and steam food. Each blade has to ends and the first blade has goes through about 500 cuts already to produce approx 12,000 squares (total for both end) and it is still very sharp. Each pass is through 10 sheets of parchment paper (we tried different numbers and 10 sheets seems to be optimum number per cut. Did not want to chance the blades being dull and having to wait for replacement blades so order the 50 extra blades. Very high quality blades but have to wait for long delivery. We should be good for 4 more years!
