There good to use. Easy to clean

Very easy to clean and works decently well

I love these straws, they ae able to open so I can wash them in the dishwasher and make sure that we don't have any mold or anything nasty in the middle of them, unlike the metal straws that we used first. I still have those, but those mandate washing by had first because you can't see what is on the inside. I don't want to gross anyone out, but with the metal straws I once used it to drink water...which then tasted funny, so I immediately washed the inside of the metal straw by hand and was horrified by what I saw. No idea how the inside of the straw turned that color. That has not been an issue with these. I have not had any issues with leaking and I've had these for almost a year.Now the downsides: they are pretty bulky to account for the open/close piece and to still have large enough interior area so you can actually get some drink. That means these do not really fit in the hole for the lids for mugs like my Yetis without getting squished - if at all. They are also floppy enough that they do not do a good job mixing drinks if you use a lot of ice, which I always do.

Excellent quality. Highly durable for hot and cold use. Unseal manually to clean inside of the straw (makes it uber sanitary) then reseal manually.

I love the idea of being able to open the straw to clean it easier. I wasn’t sure if the shape wasGoing to be awkward but it totally works. I love the size and shape. They are very durable and bendable. Great deal!

This is a game-changer for me. I have a Bethany Lefse Grill (wood handles on the sides). Each handle has two steel rods that are attached to the grill. When using the grill, the heat radiates through the rods (about 140°) or more. SO, when I saw these silicone straws that opened, my problem was solved. I cut them to fit, wrapped them around each rod, and no more burnt pinky fingers when lifting the grill.I have used the straw for a smoothie, they do clean well, but I like my solid silicone straws best.

I was so excited when I bought these for an easy clean. I put them in a drawer and forgot about them. When I came across them again, I was definitely out of my return window. Much to my surprise, they were not even the same straws advertised.🙄 They are silicone but they do not open. Was a waste of time and money. Lesson learned, always open a product as soon as received to make sure it’s correct.
