I bought this based on the majority of the reviews. This I have to say is more of a jumbo firelighter. The log lasted for 1 hour - not the 3 - there were no fireside crackle sound whatsoever and lack of heat from the log. Really disappointed and feel I wasted my money. I wouldn't buy again.

Don’t bother
This lights ok but is low heat, doesn’t crackle and doesn’t last three hours. It is frankly useless and a waste of money
