I had a trip to Vegas and didn't want to use up my phones internal storage, and wanted a way to keep photos on a separate storage medium in case of a phone mishap.Bought a micro SD card from Samsung, and it worked seamlessly. Was able to transfer 4k videos and photos over rather quickly and nest part is, the device has a USB plug side, so when I want to transfer it to a computer or standalone hard drive, I have options to transfer off the memory card.It is plastic, which isn't a deal breaker to me. I saw some people mentioning that the caps on the ends could be lost since they aren't attached to the device. I have not had this issue, the caps fit on very snuggly. I went through 4 flights with it in my book bag, neither cap came off.

Feels hefty, but in a good way, like it is a quality object. Has worked well for my data transfer needs. Fast transfer speeds.

Just what I needed. Works well for moving pics between my cameras and PC. Great storage. Small and compact.

This is a replacement, first (same model) drive went sideways and lost its partition-ability. Replacement is doing fantastic! Have only had for a couple months, but am impressed with overall apparent quality and real life performance. Sustained WRITE rate at 300+ MB/sec with large files. Even with a huge collection of PDF files, ranging from a few KB to a couple megs, still getting greater than 15MB/sec. A word about the host pc. Just a Lenovo M710Q Tiny i5-6500 with a SanDisk 256GB SSD, Windows 10, 16MB Ram. Ports are USB 3.0.

This works great. I can plug it into my phone or laptop. The caps are a little hard to pull off because of the slick surface. It would be nice to have some kind of label or marker to know which end is a usb/usb-c. I just put a blue tape on the end of the cap so I know which is which.

Great product and easy to use

This works exactly as described. I had several very old micro SD and SD cards. My current laptop does not have a card reader, and my other micro SD USB A reader could not read either card. This read everything flawlessly. I was able to see photos of trips I took years ago with my kids (my son passed away 6 years ago, so this was very important to me).

A very handy tool added to my GoPro kit.
