Clearly Superior
This bulk buy is the least expensive way to get epoxy resin. It is less expensive per ounce, and also produces less waste. I would suggest you get smaller bottles with spouts (like the ketchup and mustard squirt bottles at restaurants) to make it easier to measure out into your container. I also bought disposable medicine measuring cups to measure accurately. The product is crystal clear, sets well, and also readily releases air bubbles that would otherwise be trapped in the finished product. Follow the instructions and you won't have any problems. Also, as a neat bonus I discovered that easyCast has a website that provides the full content of 3 nice crafting books that tell you how to use resin in different ways.* Easy* Inexpensive* Crystal Clear* Works great

Amazing product.
I make small stuff with this resin so this will last me a very long time. So far I have had no issues with this product so I think it was worth the money. I left these bottles in a non insulated shed for about 2 to 3 months because I was storing things and when I got them out to use them they still still worked perfectly. The resin still cured clear so I was really glad I didn't ruin the full bottles I had. I recomend this to anyone looking for a good clear long lasting casting resin.

Easy To Work With
I have been making orgonite pieces with this and I find it very easy to work with. I have found if you want it to set quicker, cover your piece with foil and it seems to harden much quicker that way. I am trying out other brands/types of resin to see what I like best but this one works great if you don't mind waiting a full 24hrs to dry/harden. Also, make sure you only use it at about 70 degrees or higher. I tried making some pieces when it was cooler and they dried tacky. It was either that or I did not mix the ratio well enough. You really need to make sure it is 50/50 resin to catalyst.

I think I got a bad batch.
I have used this resin and others for more than 11 years but lately I seem to be getting more batches with this that don't cure properly. I don't know if I got a bad batch or not, but I've had to redo several projects because even after a couple of days, they are still sticky and uncured. I've even tried adding a bit more hardener, which always worked in the past, but still I'm not getting the results I'm used to. This has always been a good resin for me and I've used it on casting and jewelry projects for years, so I think this is just a fluke. But maybe others have had this issue so I'm putting it out there. This is a great resin if you are filling molds because it's thinner than traditional resins so you can pour it thicker and it will release bubbles better. I've also used this with pigments and it takes color very well. Overall, I'm a fan of their product, but I'll keep trying with this batch to see if it was just me or if something is up. I would still recommend this.If you have never used resin before, read up and watch some tutorials because it seems like it would be difficult, but it's pretty easy to work with. Just be safe and work in a well-ventilated area and wear gloves because you don't want it on your skin. If that happens, some simple rubbing alcohol will take it off. If you are mixing up more than a tiny amount -- like a small cup for some jewelry pieces -- do wear a respirator. Especially if you are filling several large molds. Mixing this in large amounts will produce fumes and a respirator will protect you from that. I typically mix this resin in very small amounts -- around 1/8 of a cup -- so it's not an issue at that amount. But resins can be harmful so be safe.If you have any questions on this, please feel free to contact me. I'm always happy to help a fellow artist.

Love this product!
This epoxy is really easy to work with, very low fumes/smell, and the casts come out beautifully. I highly recommend this product. It is one of more expensive brands, but well worth it. I use this epoxy in small batches, and a little really goes a long way, so this should last me a while!I like that it has little to no fumesEasy to useWorks great!

Terrible Product!! DONT BUY!!!
Terrible product. BIG WASTE OF MONEY! I bought the 128 kit planing to make some frames for shadow boxes I was giving as Christmas presents. I have worked a lot with resin in the past but it had been a few years so I thought my first mess ups were my fault. I continued to use resin being sure to Pre-Warm the resin. Making sure the room was also warm ( we had a cold snap and I thought that was a problem) I also made sure to measure a 1-1 ratio of product. I finally got resin to set firm and was delighted until we had a day that was in the 80s. All of my work, time and effort was in vein!!! Everyone of my frames went limp!!!! By this time I had used most of the resin,so I couldn't ask for a refund!!! I will NEVER BUY from Environmental Technologies again as long as this is the product they sell. I bought a small kit of Famowood Epoxy glaze Coat to see if maybe I was doing something wrong! You also mix it 1-1ratio! I set up perfect!! Couldn't be happier with the Famowood except it is very yellow. I'm going to try to include a video of the ET resin frames I made so you can see for yourself. These were cast after doing everything I was supposed to do to get this resin to work. Also they a 3 weeks old now. They will not harden but are just trash. I have included a picture of the two products. famowood on left and Environmental technologies on the right.Buyer Beware of this product. If you have any problems try to get your money back. I have heard they are very hard to get a refund from.
