Q: Can this be plugged into a regular outlet?

It comes with the cable to connect by USB to plug into a regular outlet but does not come with the actual plug adaptor to plug into the outlet.

Q: I need a clock ticking sound. Does anybody know where to get one?

Do not know if you can dim light. I personally like the light since I get up several times during the night. I will check the packaging it came in to see if there are instructions regarding light.
