Bibimbap - Kimchi Flavor
I bought this on a whim to try some foods from other cultures. This one was a bit interesting. There are directions on the back of the package in Korean and English and were easy to follow. Open the package, remove the sauce and sesame oil, fill water to line marked in package, close for 10 minutes, open and add the sauce and oil, mix and enjoy. I was able to draw hot water from my Keurig and closed the pouch for 5 minutes before adding the sauce and oil and it was perfect. No excess water in the package, no crunchy rice. The sauce had a little kick to it - not overpowering, but enough to keep it interesting and enhance the flavor. The portion in the bag is enough for a quick lunch and won't leave you hungry. When making this product - I suggest keeping the crease in the bottom of the bag, do not flatten it out. You may add excess water if you do.

Actually tastes like real bibimbap
This is the first packaged item that genuinely tastes like bibimbap, without excessive salty taste like other products that use flavored powders. But it's too expensive for the total amount of actual food. Each bag comes with a small packet of what tasted like a mild gochujang sauce, and a tiny packet of sesame oil. The resealable bag has only directions in Korean, but also easy to understand step-by-step graphics for "how to cook"Cooking time took much longer than what was listed on the punch. And the pouch wouldn't close on one of them.Instead, you may dump all the ingredients in a microwave safe bowl with hot water, cover and cook it. I also added a sunny-side egg on top before serving.

Convenient and good!
It’s so convenient and good! Considering it’s instant, it’s better than I expected. Just make sure NOT to expand the bottom of the bag before adding boiling water to the water line (or it’d be too watery due to too much water). People keep saying they left it to soak for 30 mins… and that there’s no measurement for water but… that’s why there’s a CLEAR water line inside… For those saying it was too watery or that they had to leave it for 30 mins, they probably expanded the bottom of the bag and overfilled with water. All I did was add boiling water up to the water line and left it completely sealed for 10 mins as instructed. Love it with fried eggs on top. :)

Excellent dish!
This one impressed me! Could not read the directions and for some reason, no numbers for water amount are in the directions. That is how I usually "cheat" and see what to add. It took just over a cup of boiling water to bring it to the fill line. Do not over fill! It'll be diluted and soupy. Then I closed the bag and let sit for 15 minutes. That fully hydrated everything with very little extra water left over. I used both packets in their entirety. The packet of gochujang sauce was perfect. Ever so slightly sweet and a nice medium hotness. I added it all and stirred it in. Made an excellent light lunch! I'll order this one again!

Not very good.
The rice pieces are that of dried rice cakes. While I ate it felt like I was biting into crunchy styrofoam pieces. Even after adding more water to soften it up, it was not good. Thought maybe the sauce would save it but it tasted like peppers. Not kimchi at all. Overall, highly disappointed..

Swing and a miss
Small portion of rice that you can’t quite get the liquid to food ratio down. Either too runny or too firm. Wouldn’t buy again.
