So, I looked at all the reviews that complained about the pins being too small and not fitting the sunshields properly. It actually caused me to delay purchase and consider the more expensive option - purchasing a new sunshield. I actually went to a local big box cycle gear store and inquired about pin replacements for the shield. According to sales associate, nothing exists. I finally went ahead and made the Amazon purchase, and crossed my fingers. I'm glad I did! The side of the pin that fits on the inside of the shield is noticeably smaller, but that's what makes it work - IMHO. Once the tension from applying the pinlock is added (which is what caused the original pin to probably snap in the first place, right?) everything tightens up and the pinlock fits perfectly on the sunshield. Took it out for a spin, and zero issues. (Shoei Neotec 2 sunshield and helmet)

Good fit

It was 1mm too small to fit correctly in a Shoei NeoTech II Helmet. Since I needed to use the helmet, I used clear silicone to glue it into the pin-lock hole.

Just installed. They fit perfectly on my Voss 988-1 helmet. This can save you buying a brand new shield. Order two more sets for the future.

These better work better than factory and not fly into pieces when you go to clean your pinlock. For 10$ you only get 2. I thought you get a little baggy of 6 or something. Na. You get 2. Use em wisely. If you got multiple visors it’s gonna get expensive. I will update the review if these are junk. I found replacements in the time it took to ship these.

One of the plugs had come out of my helmet shield and these made a perfect replacement for a great price!

I have a Scorpion R1 I bought that included provisions for a Pin Lock inner shield. This was great but it didn’t have provisions for tear-offs. I want to run tear-offs solely to keep my shield from getting pitted while racing (motorcycle). These tear-off posts allow you to use both tear-offs and an inner Pin Lock shield.I would highly recommend these for a replacement of your tear-off or Pin Lock posts, allowing you the freedom to use either or both.
