Wiz - Works with Home Assistant
The Light works flawlessly with Wiz app. When you compare the user experience with other companies, you can definitely feel the amount of efforts Phillips has put into developing this product segment. Also, the lights are compatible with Home Assistant through Wiz integration.ProTip: If you have more than 2 Wiz compatible lights in the room, they can become motion sensors using internal Bluetooth/WiFi (Search about philips SpaceSense technology for details)!

Product features are good, but Wiz app has bugs and does not work on some phones
The product features have to be accessed via a third party app called Wiz. When I tried linking the product to this app from my OnePlus 5 phone, it refused to work despite repeated attempts. I then tried it from a Samsung phone and it worked. The app needs to be enhanced so that it works seamlessly on all phone models.

Good product for fall ceiling
Its a good product and easily installable app.Wiz connected app is user friendly and easy to use.The colors comes out of it are amazing. If you are looking for downlight with shades or yellow and white then this is best as compare to others. The colors are smooth to eyes. The light only dim to 10% not 0% as compare to hue. But you are paying half the cost than hue.I got it at 1300at amazon but from local dealer i got it at much lower price. The only disadvantage of using this against hue is that you need modem with more connected device. Regular modem has limit of upto 32 device. Hue need single connection but again thats one point failure. In hue if bridge is gone than everything is gone.If you install it in fall ceiling then you need high power modem with more connected device. It require regular 2.4 ghz band modem network, wont work on 5.0ghz band.

Power cut mode!! Remembers settings after power disruption.
Unlike Hallonix and Wipro wifi lights, these light remember the last input setting after a power disruption (feature needs to be activated from the app settings). If you turn the lights off on the app and in the middle of the night if the power goes off and comes back, all of them don't turn on at full brightness and default settings, unlike other WiFi lights, waking up everyone in the house.Connectivity : A few of them connected instantly where as a few of them didn't, even on Manual mode. Rebooted the WiFi network + phone and reinstalled the Wiz app and all of them connected.Light quality : There is certainly something about the quality of the light which does makes them worth their extra price over other brands. Its a bit more 'posh' feeling. Also there is a dimming effect when they are turned off and is not an abrupt On/Off. When all the lights do that in sync, adds to the 'quality' feel.

Works as advertised. Good Wi product
Works like all other wiz products. Would recommend it. Only things to remember that it is for false ceilings and the diameter is 154mm. Bigger than the usual spot lights. It is a bright and wifi controllable downlight. White/ warm white and dimmable using app, google or Alexa.

Old gen product
This is 1st gen smart light , so the wifi module is fitted just above the LEDs ,as a result thickness of the body increased . In case of 2nd gen smart light the wifi module attached separately, so the thickness looks like a normal downlight. I've attached a 2nd gen smart light photo
