Works perfectly every time you need to do a remote reboot
It's amazing control for times you are away from home and need to restart your router. Have installed 3 of these at some of my customers houses also.

Easy setup, they keep it simple, and it works as advertised. Excellent response from them.
I installed the Android app, opened it, scanned the QR code, plugged in the switch, and had it connected to my network in a few minutes. I did test the settings, as I have to see that it works according to my settings, and amazingly it did. I have tried at least 2 other brands of similar products and neither would work to the settings I wanted. So far I am very happy with this device.I also submitted a question regarding what happens if after it reboots my router, but the Internet is still down. I didn't want it dropping power to my router every 2 or 3 minutes for a day or more, we did have a 24 hour Internet outage about a year ago. They responded in a couple of hours with this info.I thought this was excellent service.To answer your question, the rebooter has an exponential "back off" system that follows this logic:1st reboot uses the user-defined timing2nd reboot waits 10 mins for the internet to recover3rd reboot waits 30 mins for the internet to recover4th reboot waits for 2h for the internet to recover5th reboot waits for 6h for the internet to recover6th reboot waits 1 day for the internet to recoverAfter that, it waits 1 day forever until getting a successful connectionIf at any time it recovers, it falls back to the default user-defined timing.So it will reboot 5-6 times during the day if it is out 24 hours.Hope this answers your question, I will be placing that information on our site, as you said it's not in there and it is a valid question.

Worked as intended - until it didn't
I bought this about 6 months ago to reset my cable modem and router once a week. It was easy to set up and worked as intended until a couple weeks ago. While I was away on a trip during it's weekly reboot it turned off on schedule, but never turned back on. It was locked in the "Off" state. This left my cameras, thermostat and security system offline until I returned home. When I did I tried using the button to reset it but it was locked up. I had to unplug it for 30 seconds and plug it back in. It then came back online and acted normally. I changed to frequency to reboot every night for troubleshooting purposes while I contacted tech support.I described what happened to tech support via email, they usually responded within a day, often asking the same question the previous person asked. Then it locked up again, this time in the "On" state. I replied again to the now long email thread with customer support. They initially replied that the system was online, which I knew. Once I directly asked for a replacement, they stopped responding.After all this I cannot recommend this device.

Excellent Technical Support from ConnectSense
Having occasionally experienced internet dropouts at home office, I sought to find an easy way to reboot the router so it would resync with my modem. Both separate devices. A Tech Expert friend knowledgeable in network systems highly recommended the Reboot device by ConnectSense he uses at his home office and in the corporate headquarters. I am pleased with the automated Intelligent reboot function that will reboot any powered gear plugged into this device. During the app installation, I encountered problems with the signup and some configuration questions came up. Rudy Rivera, responded Monday morning to my inquiry filed the Sunday night before. He provided detailed instructions by email on the best practice setup and also made himself available to clear up my signup issues so I can also manually control the device that automatically reboots when it looses internet service. As I have stated in other product reviews, it's this type of professional timely technical support that I and many others in my field will value over price and features. We will encounter issues with any product. What is most important is the technical support one can count on when the need arises. I would highly recommend this "reboot" device to everyone.
