Louder than I was expecting! I’m not a sound snob so I can’t really critique that but to me it’s great! I can jam out while going down the highway in my soft top with volume to spare. Installation is straight forward and it fit perfectly into the box. They look and work great and I would buy it again.

The Pair of Kicker 43DSC504 DSC50 200-Watt 5.25” speakers are absolutely fantastic! In 2 years the new boat speakers corroded, bought these to replace existing speakers. The seem great, and the price was great.

These are great speakers. They sound great and fit perfectly in the box I ordered for my old CJ 7 to fit under my dash in front of my shifter. Like any speaker proper wiring is required and an amp helps.

This was my first time replacing anything in the sound system, but these were ridiculously easy to install. The sound quality is unmatched, kickers rule!!!

I added these to the bow of my boat and am running them off from a 50 watt RMS marine amp. They sound good and look good as well. They are not technically waterproof for marine use, but the speaker cone is made of a poly material rather than paper. This is the second set I installed in my boat (5 years ago) and the first set occasionally gets water on them. No problems so far.

Fits good in the 98 Wrangler TJ factory sound bar using the Kicker supplied grilles.Good sound in the factory sound bar is hard to get. Had originally replaced the factory speakers with a good name brand to make the factory radio sound better. Finally put in a good radio. This sound bar requires you to push the 5 1/4 " speakers hard with the equalizer to get any bass at all. The previous speakers could not handle bass very well. Some frequencies of bass, and especially the thump of the floor bass drum would cause the previous speakers to distort.These Kicker's handle that push well. They have a good strong cone. The floor base thump is still not as good as larger speakers but it is there, and much cleaner, and now you hear the bass guitar again. The mids and highs are crisp and clean. "Low Rider" sounds great cranked up, and Willie Nelson with his favorite acoustic sounds like he is playing right beside you. This is about as good as you are going to get from speakers this size in a Wrangler sound bar. I can enjoy music in the Jeep again without taking up a lot of space with enclosures and big speakers. And can broadcast music to the other cars while sitting at traffic lights.

These were a perfect match to my low powered Fusion MS RA-60 stereo. The amp barely has 20 watts per channel and can really only push these speakers for mids/ highs. That being said, these Kickers seem efficient enough, to still sound great in my single cab CanAm Defender. If I were to add a small amplifier, to boost the output to more like 50-75 watts, these would likely blow my eardrums out. I’m about 20” from the left one, when driving, so thankfully the lower power provided to them, isn’t an issue. I’ve run a small powered sub to help fill lower bass. Seems to help a lot. Great speakers with decent staging. Wasn’t expecting a whole lot at this price point but they delivered. Really impressed.
