Bread pan
This bread pan makes a large size loaf . It holds the temperature which helps a lot for the dough to rise. It really makes a perfect bread.š

Documentation?
Iām giving this three stars, since I havenāt actually made anything with it yet. But thereās more documentation on the Amazon page then comes with the pan. Because the pan came with zip. Nada. It also had several areas of grease on it, and Iām not talking Crisco here. Actually black grease, like you might find on the undercarriage of a Pullman car. Iāll update this review once Iāve used it a few times. Now Iāve got to go season the pan, since I just found out by reading the above product description that youāre supposed to do that.

First Pullman pan
This pan ships in a cardboard box with bubble wrap around it. Mine was mostly free of grease, just the lid had some along the edges. I sprayed with oil and put in the oven before use. I made a pain de mie recipe I think I found on King Arthur's flour website but used 2.5 tsp of yeast since 1.5 seemed small for over 5 cups of flour. I made the dough in my Westbend hi rise bread machine up to the second rise. At that point it occupied about 2/3 of the pan, considerably less than this Pullman.Took it out, folded it in thirds then half an put in pan and pressed until it got into the edges. The pan was about a third full. Put on the cover, left about an inch space and covered that gap with plastic wrap. Left in warm area for 1.5 hours to proof. To my shock the dough overflowed through the gap and I had to cut it off and put in a mini loaf pan. Put in oven fully covered and baked covered for recommended time, then removed cover and baked until golden. It was easy to remove from the pan, the top wasn't quite perfectly square as a result of the overflow and having to cut it off which deflated the dough a little. Bread was delicious though.

Discolored

Makes the best bread.
This pan bakes the perfect bread, soft and brown. Comes out like store bought but better. Non stick!! Would highly recommend if you bake your own bread!
