Solid product and AMAZING Customer Service
The products I've ordered from PLUGABLE have met or exceeded my expectations. Solid construction and durable in use, the physical aspects alone are worth the price. That being said, the most amazing aspect of this is the customer support offered by the company. I mistakenly ordered the wrong version of a product, but their fulfillment and customer support noticed something might be wrong with my order based on my contact info and order details. Instead of simply sending me what I ordered, they reached out to me to confirm I didn't make a mistake. When MY reply to their inquiry was delayed, instead of waiting, they were proactive and resolved the issue by accommodating both what I ordered and what they "thought" I should have ordered. This has NEVER happened to me before. This was truly beyond expectation customer service. PLUGABLE has earned my business moving forward.

Solid as a rock
Combined with the iVoler charger listed below, I use it to charge my Cube Mix Plus tablet @ 12v.This is my first setup with USB-C, let alone using PD so I did a bit of research to find a decent cable I would use to send up to 36W through. The cable is sturdy, much like a slightly slimmer outdoor power cord with about the same amount of flexibility. The boot is solid and hold the connector in place with no play at all.I have had a lot of USB cable failures in the past for various reason, from the connector bending, the boot sliding down the cable and pulling a wire off the connector with it, to breaks in the wire internally. I don't think any of those will be an issue for this cable. It is too stiff to kink and damage the wires internally, the USB-C connector is solid as a rock and the boot is locked on tight.iVoler 75W USB Type C Charger with Power Delivery, 60W USB-C Port + 15W 3 USB Ports for Apple Macbook, Chromebook Pixel, Samsung Tab Pro S, Nexus 5X/6P, Google Pixel / XL, LG G5 and More (Black)

The Plugable USBC-C100 Cable is USB-IF certified and adequately USB-C compliant
This is Nathan K, a Google Top Contributor program volunteer (Nexus Support Forums), and follower of Benson Leung. I analyzed Plugable's "USB-C to USB-C Cable (3.3 ft / 1 m, USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C, 3A)" [Model USBC-C100]This cable is USB-IF certified and complies with the USB Type-C specification version 1.2. (Hooray!) But there are two issues worthy of note. The documentation can be found at usb.org under developers/usbtypec.Full disclosure: I worked with Plugable's engineers troubleshooting hardware compatibility issues with Nexus devices. (See comments section in "John Moran's" review.) Therefore I cite their support very highly. This is a subjective assessment based on my interactions (or rather, absence of) with other manufacturers. Only two have accepted constructive feedback and acted on it. Plugable is one of them, Tronsmart (pending) is the other. To me, that is worthy of distinction. This cable is properly USB-IF certified on the packaging, in advertisements, and electronically. However upon inspection of the eMarker IC chip, I found Plugable left the product ID as "Zero". Furthermore the cable itself has rather high IR drop. When I used a Twinkie PD-sniffer tool to analyze the eMarker I received a response of "ff008041 1800060f 0000021e 00000000 0b082032".- This cable product ID is blank. Translated into human-readable data, this means "USB Product ID (dev desc)(16-bit uint) Hex/no key: 0".- The USB VID/company that manufactured the cable is "1551|Joinsoon Electronics Mfg. Co., Ltd." Translated into human-readable data, this means "USB Vendor ID (16-bit uint) Hex/no key: 60f".Product ID needs to be unique per manufacturer, so this may be interpreted as "product number Zero". (Also called Zero indexing.) So long as Joinsoon NEVER makes another product with an ID number of "Zero", and the USB-IF does not have restrictions on this number, this is likely OK. I cite this because some devices with poor coding may see the blank product field and naively assume that it's "not there". (i.e. "if [productID] doSomething();" versus "if [productID != NULL] doSomething();") So it's something to be mindful of.This cable has an IR drop of ~400mV at 3A. This is near the upper USB-C tolerance but within Spec. Tolerance is a range of values which is "permissible and designed for". This still means devices that are not strictly USB-C compliant (like the Nexus 6P, which requires >4.95v) experience reduced charging rates. In conclusion, this cable performs within spec and is safe. Due to its low cost (almost half that of the USB-IF certified Belkin) and support (US-based vendor), I believe this cable is the epitome of the "design delta"/"project triangle". This cable opts for 'good' and 'cheap', at the expense of 'high current'.For this reason I endorse this cable as a cheap, reliable, safe option for primarily for data/video (and occasional charging) use.Additional resources:* Detailed evaluation is available at plus.google.com under /102612254593917101378/posts/gDMac1tZkRk* A compliance checklist for the Plugable USBC-C100 is available at drive.google.com under /open?id=0B2OJRSgNnm4GMmlqZE1sQVc5TEE

Works on a Lenovo Docking
I got this to replace a missing one for a Lenovo Docking station, it works, and I like being a bit longer than the original one.

Amazing speed increase using a real USB 3.1 Certified cable
I was using a "found" USB-C cable with the plugable usb-c HUB Plugable USB-C Docking Station for Specific Windows, MacBook (non-Touchbar), Chromebook, and Linux USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 Systems (4K@30Hz/1080P@60Hz HDMI, 60W Charging on Supported Systems) and ethernet speeds were maxing out at 300mb/s, HDMI was inop, upgraded to this USB-IF Certified cable and bam 900mb/s and the hub is now singing. Shame there is so much miss information about the usb-c cables. Highly recommend this cable if you want to use all the bandwidth of 3.1.USB-C is just the connector so watch out for the 3.1 USB-IF Certification. As Always pluggable is a reliable , reasonably priced product that meets specifications.

Doesn't rapid charge the Nexus 5X
This cable, while transferring at USB 3 speed, does not rapidly charge the Nexus 5X. There is another brand cable on Amazon (for less money) that will do both. Check my reviews.

First one of these cables I owned failed after 2 months, and after troubleshooting I emailed Plugable and had a new one within 2 days. Second cable is going strong. Works with any device I plug into it (I use a Samsung SSD T3 at work and I've got a Motorola Z Force) and never disconnects. What more can you say?

Good USB 3.1 Gen 2 Cable
Nice, solid cable and one of the few certified as USB 3.1 Gen 2. Great for accessing my Sandisk SSD. Would like a thiner, lighter cable for carrying with my laptop but this one is high quality and gets the job done.
