I love this company.
I’m in the early stages of starting my own tea business, and have ordered multiple herbs from Starwest to experiment with different blends. Each one is high quality I’ve actually compared them to higher priced herbs I acquired from a local apothecary; Starwest is always of higher or equal quality. Kava does have subtle mouth numbing qualities, which can obstruct the taste of other herbs, but the medicinal benefits are well worth it.

Helped calm me
The product had a nice calming effect. The taste is a bit earthy, root-like. I had to put a bit more honey and milk to mask the earthy taste. Besides the taste, overall I think the product helped calm my nerves and I would buy it again.
