Buy it!
Got this to use in my ninja creami, worked really well for a sherbet and tasted great, very sweet, it froze super well, was easy to use plus it has no dairy so it dosen't hurt my stomach. Good price for the amount you get.

A good mix
It's delicious and a good mango flavor. When used in our soft serve machine, it comes out soft and when refrigerated, it is smooth.

So Good in the Creami
This stuff is delicious and so easy to make in the Creami. It was the first thing I made in my machine and it was a good introduction to what the machine can do and made the first attempt easy and fun. It tastes very good served with vanilla ice cream too- like a like creamsicle sort of thing. I want to make it in my Breville Smart Scoop and see how the texture differs. I can't imagine it can be that much better but it is worth trying. I bought the orange today to try next. Most people don't realize orange was the original flavor. I am sure they are all good though and I will probably try them all. I can't recommend this highly enough. It was delicious.

Easy Pina Colada!!!
I have made this the regular way in my old Cuisinart ice cream maker and like it very much. We were recently in the mood for Pina coladas and I looked for some recipes. I didn't have a lot of the ingredients, and I thought, why not use this mix!!?For my 1.5 quart machine, I used 2.75 cups of water, a scant 1 cup of dole pineapple mix (I'd say 7/8 cup) and 5 tablespoons of coconut cream powder. I got the coconut cream powder here on Amazon. I got the circle earth organic brand. I don't know that much about coconut cream powder, so this seemed fine. I mixed it all together, and put it in the machine. The powder didn't want to completely dissolve in the cold water, so I pushed it through a sieve the second time, but the little bits in the first batch didn't really bother anyone. When it was pretty frozen, but still soft, I scooped it in glasses and added 2 ounces of Malibu coconut rum. You can adjust the coconut powder of you want it more coconut-y. We like it more pineapple-y. You don't have to add the alcohol either if you really don't want to, but we did!!! Way yummy!!!After the first round was gone, we all wanted another, but my machine only makes one batch, then you have to refreeze the bowl. We did try, and it got cold, but didn't freeze. So we just added crushed ice and they were good that way too. I could have gotten out the blender, but I was too lazy!! Haha!! I am here buying another bowl right now!!

Pretty good!
I bought this mix awhile ago and was looking for ways to use it. I finally just tried making a smoothie with it, and it was pretty good! I used 5 oz. almond milk, a heaping 1/4 cup of Dole whip powder, and a large smoothie cup full of ice, all in the blender. Took awhile for it to fully blend but it eventually did. Taste and texture are pretty good, I do detect a slight bitter/sour note but my powder is more than one year old so it might be because of that. I hope this helps others who were looking for instructions to make smoothies using this mix.

It really works.
This plus a regular ice cream maker (I got the 1.5 qt Cuisinart ICE-21 just for this) produces perfect Dole whip, no need for a specialized soft serve machine. If you want to get fancy with a swirl, you could always pipe it out with a pastry bag or just a plastic bag with a corner cut off.I tried a recipe from youtube, with 1.33c powder mixed into 0.5qt (2c) water, then adding more water to total 1qt. This was a tiny bit too sweet IMO. Still good, but I liked the results from the included instructions, with 7/8c powder into 2.75c cold water. A few tips/notes:- When mixing the powder + water, I found reserving some of the water to add towards the end helped mix a tiny bit better, helping to get rid of little clumps. So add 7/8c powder into 2c water, whisk, then add 0.75c water, and whisk again. That's more akin to the official full bag instructions (add bag to 1 gallon cold water in a bucket, whisk, then add water up to 2 gallon line).- The longer you let it run in the ice cream machine, the firmer it gets. I found about 20-25 minutes to my liking - it's a tiny bit on the dense side, but by the time you scoop it out and serve it, it's just right. It felt a bit dense and slightly gummy when I went up to 30 minutes. Note that it does expand in volume too, but at the numbers I mentioned, it didn't overflow (though it does rise above the rim of the spinning bowl).- It starts off a darkish yellow, but as it mixes and aerates, it becomes a more pale yellow, like you get in Disney/Hawaii. The people complaining about it being too yellow or icy probably just didn't let it run long enough. If you want it "just like Disney/Hawaii", it's non-dairy there since they follow the instructions and just add water, so no need to add milk. However, if you want to tune it to your personal preferences, knock yourself out.
