I like to mash with it
Recommended by Wirecutter. It works quite well. It earned a spot in my kitchen drawer, and I was able to give my other two mashers to the goodwill

Reduces hand fatigue
This really does reduce hand fatigue when mashing potato’s- it take a little getting used to if you are along time user of a traditional masher - I highly recommend this

Smooth potatoes
While I've been happily using my S-wavy old fashioned potato masher for the last 50 years or so, I was getting complaints about lumps in the mashed potatoes (gasp). So I tried this new one out - it takes a little more arm strength, but in a very short time I was able to get a bowl of very smooth and family-approved fluffy mashed potatoes. And it wasn't hard to clean after all...

Great Design - Best Function!
The design and shape of this potato masher, as with just about all Oxo products, is very intelligently designed. It works well with minimum pressure. The flat handle across the top gives you best strength and pressure in mashing with no hand strain at all. Highly recommend!

Help with people with limited hand strength.
This is one of the best utensils in my kitchen, arthritis has taken some of my strength from my hands. It is great to use this smaller, takes up less room, easy to use and not flimsy. It works great to help me mash carrots/potatoes/onions again without dreading the pain in my hands. The metal is sturdy.
