Chalk Finish Paint, No Prep, One Coat, Fast Drying | DIY Makeover for Cabinets, Furniture & More, 4 Ounce, (Stone Gray)

I have an antique 62 year old wooden rocker that was my Grandmothers. It was in pristine condition.I had tie on chair pad and back on it. Unknown to me, one of my cats had been peeing on the seat cushion. When I removed I was sick as the finish was dissolved unevenly underneath. I cleaned and deodorized to remove odor but I was not looking forward to sanding and refinishing.I happened upon this paint but was a little dubious of the claims of no sanding or prep work and it seemed a lot for a quart of paint.This paint is worth every cent! I did no prep but to wipe with damp rag and dry.it covered every bit of the damaged area! I applied two coats but 1 coat totally covered. I was going to get the finishing wax but I like the matte look.I was amazed by this paint. I went on too paint a coffee table , bookcase and another end table with still a half can to spare. This paint goes a long way. It dried very fast and does not have any bad odor or fumes. I will buy more in other colors for other projects. Don't waste your money on cheaper brands this is the best chalk paint.

The Amitha Verma paint covered beautifully! No prep work needed (other than making sure the furniture is clean and dry), it covered my dresser in 2 coats. The paint dries fairly quickly as well, so by the time I completed the first coat, I was able to start back at the beginning with the second coat. The stone gray color was exactly what I wanted and expected, a nice light gray. Highly recommended this wonderful paint!

RIDICULOUS!! I don’t know how I missed that this was Barbie doll size !! Perhaps if I was painting a dollhouse size piece of furniture it would be the correct size! Haha - that’s on me not looking clearly at the ounces ! PLUS IT WAS LATE. I decided to try to keep it and at least use it because it claimed such great coverage - it didn’t do that either. The good thing was that it was a great color. Back to the drawing board. Going to try a diff brand in a actually usable quantity.

I painted my cabinets in a laundry room/ bathroom. I bought this product because there was no prep work needed. I hate painting as a rule but This paint covered in one coat and I did the job in one day. I have already ordered another color for the upstairs bath. Also plan on doing the kitchen cabinets.Ps I never give reviews but this product deserves it.

I ordered this paint to cover some black counter stools I bought a while back from Ballard. They were not polyurethaned as far as I could tell and I wanted them to match my new kitchen table and chairs. This paint is very thick and dries very fast to a beautiful chalky finish BUT, it surely wasn't one coat for me. I ended up putting 3 coats on to get the coverage even. I don't know if it was because I was going over black with white-ish colored paint, but it took a lot to get it right. I am very happy with the finished product but wanted to mention that because it says it covers with one coat but that wasn't the case for me.

****update! Excellent customer service. The seller reached back out to me and is shipping a full QT and told me to keep the 4 oz can. Will order again in the future. ****I love this paint! It’s wonderful. I ordered the Jardin green after having a great experience with the belgian blue. Unfortunately I paid $39 for the jardin green and it arrived in a 4 oz can. I’m requesting a refund or to swap this out for the right size.

My daughter and I were going to use Anne Sloan but it was not available locally so we ordered this from Amazon- She has used Annie Sloan before but after using this to paint my kitchen she thinks this is much better and will use Amitha Verma from now on . I am not a good painter but it was so easy to use I even helped paint!. I am so happy with my new kitchen and your paint that I think I will start painting everything.

I purchased the Noir Black over a year ago & have used it on several different projects from my kitchen island to plastic mirror frames. This stuff is the real deal. Covers wonderfully & dries fast. I'm on here today to buy some additional colors for my coffee table & a dresser. BTW...if I could describe the Noir Black in color terms I would consider in to be a lighter black. When it is painted in addition to other colors on a piece, let's say teal it looks Black. If you use it alone it looks like the darkest of grays. Either way it is an excellent value & an excellent product.
