Monoprice Speaker Wire/Cable - 100 Feet - 18 AWG 4 Conductor CMP-Rated | UL Plenum Rated, 100 Percent Pure Bare Copper with Color Coded Conductors - Nimbus Series

I am disappointed in this product and will return it. The outer PVC jacket is extremely hard and stiff, this wire will not lay down or follow a bend. It has a slow twist to the wire pairs that can not be undone and it will not lay flat. The inner conductors are reasonable and do have fine strands. This wire is OK for stapling in walls or in an industrial cable raceway, but as soon as it out of the wall, and would be connected to a speaker or amplifier it will be terrible to work with. In my opinion the outer jacket is a cheep PVC formulation with no additives for flexibility, it is more like a hard plastic, probably one of the worst speaker cables I have known. I regret that I did not read the other reviews more closely.

Although the wire itself is as stated the cable is NOT flexible. More like fence wire than speaker cable. Would not bend or fall easily and would have a "stand out" of more than a foot unsupported. IE the cable would stand straight out if held in hand by at least a foot and then have only a gradual droop. Not easy to work with and is far stiffer than the same blue 16/2 plenum speaker wire from Southwire at Home Depot. Only ordered because of color but returned as soon as opened.

Didn't like the fact that I ordered 2 reels of the same product and then have both delivered at the same time. The first reel of wire wasn't due until at least late November and it came with the most current order? The current order was received ahead of the delivery date and in good condition as was the first order. It's definitely going to make a lot less of a mess with just a few cables versus a massive entanglement of wires. Seems to be a good product but will review once again when I have more data to share. No harm no foul on a double order as I can always use more than I can use less. Found the cables a little bit too stiff and difficult to strip but still will work once in place.

Honestly i can say this i about the worst wire you can use. The outer jacket is very rigid. Also the wire jacket itself is also very rigid. When you start to flex/ bend the cable you can see the outer jacket turn white then eventually break. If you are using this to pull behind a wall im sure it will damage the outer jacket and make it useless. Further more it you use it in your vehicle like i did then it will eventually break. In this case it not only broke the out but the wire jacket aswell.... positive to negative wires touched. Not good. Doesnt matter if you made yourself a nice conduit for the wire it run through! I would recommend installgear much better jacket and flexible.

J'ai acheté ce rouleau de 100' de fils 18/2 pour raccorder les différentes pièces de mon système d'éclairage LED 12v. Les fils multibrin sont de bonne qualité mais je trouve un peu trop rigide la gaine protectrice de plastique pour installation dans un panneau de contrôle puisque la gaine pli très peu. Je recommande le produit. Par contre, je suis très déçu de la livraison de 3 semaines pour un produit en stock, dans mon pays même pour un abonner Prime. Pour économiser environ 3 dollars, la prochaine fois j'achèterai en ville.
