This is a decent book shelf for small space . Easy to assemble but very light and not suitable for heavy hardback books . I used one shelf for hardbacks and rest paper backs . Not advisable for free standing and better against a wall . Shelves are fairly small .

I am very impressed with the quality and precision fit of this economy shelf unit.It went together easily. Everything fit, the holes lined up, all the hardware was there, and the instructions were clear and simple.It was also handy that it assembled in two halves, which made it easy to handle for one person. If you had to, you could assemble it in place in a tight spot. Another plus was that the back went on in sections instead of one long piece. It was easy to keep it straight and square.

I bought this item during the Prime sale in October. When I opened this shelf, some trays were swollen. What? I can't believe it. Why do I pay for this condition's product?And, they tricked me. They said it was Prime Day, and listed it at $19.99. There was no shipping. But when I checked my receipt, it wasn't like that.If you buy this product, you have to check your invoice.Don't buy this item!This is not a very precise assembly method either. Even if you put in the time and effort, it will not be the bookshelf you expected. It will end up being a sloppy, slime bookshelf.Don't buy this item!
