Well, when I got this stuff, I just went ahead and opened it up and poured it down the drain, and it got rid of the clog that had been there for some time.

If the cardboard is black, be careful opening the package.
The packaging was very disappointing and probably very dangerous for the people transporting it from A to B. Almost all of the bottles were leaking to the point the inner cardboard had been saturated.This is a very powerful drain cleaner product, and the seller should have taken more steps to ensure that being banged around in transport didn't damage the internal packaging.It does work well as a drain cleaner, though.
