perfect fit for damage of my fuel line caused by a squirrel. all squirrel's are just glorified tree rats.

I used one in the package to join my nylon fuel line at the gas tank, for my 2004 Pontiac Grand Am. - The fuel (and brake) lines on that car rust apart. I took out my fuel pump fuse, so it wouldn't run and pump gas, should I re-connect the battery and turn the ignition on before my fuel lines were done. - Which I had to do, when I went to roll up my driver side window before it was going to rain, but the window regulator had failed, and the window wouldn't stay up by itself. So I ordered another window regulator (w/ motor), took my interior panel off, and put wood blocks under the window to keep it closed, until I could fix it when the new part came in.

Quick and easy plumbing for fuel line. Had to use a new razor blade to be certain I made a clean straight cut.

This Union is made really well to join plastic fuel lines. I recommend them.

I used this coupler to repair a broken fuel line on a 93 Volvo 940 (fuel filter to rail).Worked perfectly during a 500-mile drive the day after the repair. No leaks. I used this with Dorman 5/16 fuel line, which is the equivalent of 8mm line.To assure yourself of the best possible outcome, do the following:- spend $5-$7 on a PVC cutting tool, rather than use wire cutters to cut the fuel line. The PVC cutter will cut the line perfectly, without warping it and without leaving burrs.- push the line into the coupler until it clicks and cannot be pulled out
