i dont know what type of voodo/physics defying makes this thing work, but you can stick this to a semi smooth surface at almost 90 degrees. it takes quite a bit of pressure to knock it sideways, but picks straight up every time.

It works as described. My husband was always knocking over his water container. This one stays in place.

The Mighty Mug is a decent tumbler with good insulation, it keeps drinks hot for several hours and cold for even longer. The leakproof design is a plus, and it's cupholder-friendly, which makes it convenient for travel. Plus I really like the teal color. However, while the "untippable" feature is clever, it doesn't always hold up in every situation. It does grip well on smooth surfaces, but if bumped hard enough, it can still tip. The untippable part was the only reason why I purchased it because I have a medical condition which makes it hard for me to grip something like this. Without that feature........to me, it's just another overpriced "trendy" mug. Actually, the 16 ounce is too small for me since I drink a lot of water throughout the day. Especially once you add ice in it it's just not enough liquid. Perhaps if they made it larger like a 32 ounce or taller I would've kept it despite not being perfect with the untippable part. Overall, it's a solid mug with good functionality, but it may not be quite as revolutionary as advertised.

To put in freezer overnight next day run warm water to release pressure to open the top
