RUDY PROJECTCycling RYDON Sunglasses

Perfect for me
I use them with prescription (got my prescription lens done at SportRx dot com). I have a large face and they fit perfect. I previously used Oakley Flak 2.0 XL but I prefer these. They fit better, adjustable temples allow a better fit and seem to do better when I’m sweating profusely. I highly recommend them

Great
Lenses darken and lighten relatively quickly. As you're wearing them you don't notice the difference. Very restful on the eyes. The price for these is great, back earpiece glasses are $209 or something in that range. Don't know why this particular pair is much cheaper but they work!

great for outdoor sports
I got a new road carbon bike wanted to get some new technology sunglasses, What I liked about the Rudy Project is that the fame and nose pad are ophthalmic which means that bendable and adjustable to your face setting, as well as the lens are interchangeable. I like the idea of the Photochromic clear to darker lens.On the photochromic lessees they had a quite a few options of optionsCLEAR TO BLACK which has a Light Transmission: 9 to 74%,CLEAR TO LASER BLACK which as a Light Transmission: 13 to 62%,CLEAR TO LASER RED which has Light Transmission: 16 to 75%CLEAR TO LASER BROWN which has Light Transmission: 17 to 73%.I purchased the clear to black, and the clear to laser red lenses to try them both out see which lens would work better for me. I like the clear to black the best, the clear to red did not get much sunlight out and put a strain on my eyes and the clear to laser black would have been too dark for road cycling. Nonetheless as the lenses are interchangeable you can put on darker or amber, green. brown lens, this is good when you want to use it for other activities such as beach jet-skiing and golfing for the lighter green lens. Rudy Project also have newer POLAR 3FX technology lenses which may be worth trying. The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is that the price is expensive.
